Christmas Markets

It´s still cold.
Our Monday-After-Weekend-Relationship-For-Too-Many-Years-Tradition led us to the Christmas-Markets today.
Which is a route through a park now. Not as nice as following river Oker, though:

Weather warmed up a bit, the snow would be just right for throwing snowballs...

Living so near to the Asse (deep geological repository for radioactive waste) brings people to the weirdest ideas, huh?

The city, all in tinsel:

Saying welcome (to the right):

Henry The Lion, put behind glass, with a Santa-Cap:

The old Ferris wheel is back again:

Ingo:

We were there rather early, so the place wasn´t too packed yet.
View to my gym!

Well, more or less, rather less.
At least the cycle-paths are free again. If my leg stops hurting, I go again tomorrow, after a real long break.

Another beautiful, old-fashioned carousel:

Schadt's Brauereigasthaus, they brew their own "Henry"-Beer:

Despite the cold, the dangerous, time-consuming way to work and back, I try to enjoy Pre-Chrissy-Season. At least there are lights everywhere.
Apartment:
No progress. Ingo´s right hand is still hurting and is thick. With my darn right arm I cannot help, either.
Furniture is still not available, but back to Ingo´s hand... would be of not much use anyways.
Chaos reigns.
Cold reigns, too.

Ooooh that looks cold and lovely.
I would love to experience that one day
Be my guest! :-)
Would that be the rathaus in the welcome photo? Very typical view of a German city.
Hammy it´s the backside of the "real" old castle - but, yips, typically German... or typically European?
Message from my kidlets - "That's awesome! Thankyou for taking snow pictures for us. We loved seeing them. It looks very cold."
And from their mum - thank you so much, Iris. xx
Red Dirt Mummy, if we get snow again and there´s nice, sunny weather, I try to take more fun-pics and put them down either here on in FB - say Thanks for the message and Hi to your kids from me :-)
