YumYumYum
Yes.
That´s me, sitting on a cow.
Waiting for a cow.
From Argentina. They´re the best, ya know?
Spouse took me out to THE Steak House in town, which happens to be just around the corner (and nope, this was not the reason to pick this apartment ;-)...)
A snapshot (without flash, as all pics, so to not annoy other guests):
I think it´s weird "our" waiter knows us. We´re not there THAT often after all.
We´re the "K´s". We take No 14 & 18, without sauce. We´re done in way under an hour and we always round up with paying. (We do not order ketchup or such , either - and yes. We did witness this!)
Maybe we´re easy guests? 4-5 times a year we show up. "Our" waiter used to go to the Braunschweig Lions, too. He uses the informal address (du), maybe hence? Aw, whatever.
It´s soooo yummy - and after another weird period of me disliking meat (apart from snag (?), well, Wurst!) for about 4 months (!!) I was able to eat - and fully enjoy my steak again.
The one he called "the lille one". Well. Was enough! See those two driplets of blood? Yes, that´s how I like it :-)
Was also enough cause... dunno where they get it from in winter... but the salad-leafes and the slice of tomatoe (no decoration to us) - was Y.U.M.M.Y, too!
This is the place to go in Braunschweig if you want some real, good steak in a friendly, traditional atmosphere and no, I don´t get payed for saying so ;-)
El Gaucho, YUM.
And, yes. It was a bit weird to go out for fancy dinner when the people in Japan suffer that much and we all are afraid of what´ll happen next nuclear-wise.
But... it won´t make a difference if we stayed home, no?
We sure feel for those people.

Labels: Braunschweig/Brunswick, the two of us, yummy
