Double-Half or One Ten without ham

Having (nearly) everything twice, being no longer just one of two in the week. Being a Pizza-lover like no other, disliking ham, hence the new title.

Are You Chicken Or What?!

Yes. I did fall for that crappy Easter-Nonesense!

But, by golly, isn´t that chicken just tooo darn cute?!
Still need to find a place for her. Thin as she is, she cannot stand safely:

It´s all bout Easter now - our grocery-store offers discounts on certain products on certain days:

Nice idea - like really! On April 5th you get 10% off if you bring an Easter-Egg you colored yourself (is that a German thing only?).
On April 15th kids get a Kinder Surprise (aka Überraschungsei) for a self-painted Easter-scene.
Love the idea - but I know I´ll miss the dates. Or? Will I? Let´s see, huh?
Ideas like that should be rewarded, no?

Not at all nice is this:

Maybe I´m a biiig fat babbitt - but hello?! Weekendhäuser???
They mean little wooden ... summerhouse doesn´t really bring it to the point, in Germany it´s smaller. But yep. Small wooden "houses" we actually call "garden-house".
Do they really think they sell better by mixing languages? Do they think that´s "exotic"? It´s plain dumb in my babbitt-heart!

Could shoot guys like that - haha! (new addition to the kitchen):

Sorry for turning this into a rant after all.
Anyone a thought on mixing up languages like that? In one word even?

I do know there are words in one language only and I´m fine with that. But making up mixed-words when there are existing ones just to sound more interesting?

Don´t be chicken, tell me if you think I´m just an ole lad... ;-)

Sounds like a weekender - no problem with that.
