(Night) In The Museum
Last Saturday we went to the Museum of natural history. They have Dinosaurs on display, hence this one is welcoming the visitors. Guess I´ll see him more often, Ingo bought annual tickets. We should´ve done that last year, the one where we had no summer… I hope for lots of bike-tours and a summer this year!
Well. Despite it being Saturday and rainy, the museum wasn´t too crowded. First we went downstairs, I just love those colorful fishes:
Find Nemo...
Nothing like AQWA and this “new” cam is really bad with inside pics without flash.
Speaking of grey, rainy weather… this cheers one up, no?
Weird guy:
More green, snake included:
And isn´t this felly too cute?
Up we went and guess whom we found there? Stumpy!
Know the little stromatolithe in Shark Bay, WA, who leads you through the path, explaining how his life works and shows you his ancestors (EIP, “erode in peace”).
Ahhh, sweet memories.
Hamelin Pool, where we had brekkie with a slightly bugged out tourist-guide who told us that you can use dettoil mixed with baby-oil against the mossies. Works only when there aren´t too many of them, though. But it made a nice memory.
Here is another slice from Shark Bay:
Sorry again for the blurry pic, but do you see some similarities here? ;-)
And this one reminds me of Zoidberg from futurama…
Now, stop here, otherwise you put yourself at risk! I doubt, though, that a rope like that would stop this guy, huh?
A “small” dino, yikes, those sharp teeth!
See that foot beside him? Does it belong to “Rexi”?
See how huge that dino is? That´s me in the picture, I couldn´t even reach his hipbone! He probably´d helped me up, he seems to grin in a friendly way:
Pic also blurry, taken by Ingo. Next time we really need to take his camera!
I soooo love the sea:
These are only dioramas, though. But with a bit imagination… Skip imagination in the following one:
Ewww… Since I don´t wanna end with such an ugly (yet kinda amazing) pic, I show you what I found in the supermarket before, it´s kinda distracting:
Is the print for in case some elephant might stroll by? “Here, take those.”
This Saturday was great, too, pics are to come.
Yep. Back in life. Still have my moments (kinda often) about my Mum, but we go on.
