A Last Good Bye

This is the last dino-visit. We´re nearly there... sadly. It was a fun exhibit, made with so much love!

Maybe it was not really a loving dance-scene...

I understand... those tiny arms must´ve been something!

 Even the rubbish-bin was "cute".

Cute, btw:

This is for:

"Our everyday objects and their unusual origin stories

 Bathtubs

It took quite a while for people to get used to the idea of a warm bath. While the ancient Greeks enjoyed one after sports, from the 16th to the 18th centuries, doctors advised against baths, believing they would open the pores and thus allow infections to enter the body.

Thanks to their admiration for the ancient Greeks, the Victorians brought back the bath, and soon sanitary facilities for the home were developed."

We threw our bathtub out to get a shower in - you?

Milk OK, Baby?

Hello Iris,
I enjoyed the dinosaur exhibit, it was fun. The curious kitty is brave. The lions maybe hungry. I would not mind changing my tub out for a walk-in shower. Great photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your critter link! Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thanks so much for leaving me a comment.

The small ones have to be braver than others, huh - and maybe the Lion was actually scared!
Yes, we never used the bathtub. In my first apartment once. Next, never, here - ours (we own it) - out! To a great weekend!

Süß, der "kleine Henry", liebe Iris! Die großen Saurier sind weniger süß, aber das scheint eine coole Ausstellung gewesen zu sein. Der Löwe-Katze-Film erscheint mir KI-genieriert - right?

We have no tub but sometimes in winter I think it might be nice to soak in one. Bye bye dinos.

Those dino pictures are great, and that rubbish-bin is strangely cute. I've personally never been comfortable with a bath but I enjoy a shower.

The dinosaurs look exciting. Wish we had a bath but we only have a shower.

This is such a cool place. Yes even the trash bin has class. The one thing I really miss is a hot bath. I just have a shower in this house. Henry looks too cute with his mean face.

I love how playful and charming your final dino-visit post is. The little details, from the tiny arms to the “cute” rubbish-bin, really bring the exhibit to life. And the bit about bathtubs is a fun historical twist. I never realized baths had such a complicated reputation.

Can you imagine how smelly the world was when people didn't bat very often? I'm with you, thank goodness baths can back into vogue. It was fun to see the dinos. Maybe they'll be back again. Have a super Sunday. hugs-Erika

I love the video, for just a second I thought the tiny kitten would be lunch! I learned that Romans in ancient times were also fond of baths and if you watch Shogun you will see the Japanese too, were in favour of being clean. I don't have a bathtub where I am, the room had one originally I think when these flats were first built, certainly the space looks that way, but that area now holds the laundry tub and washer/dryer stack. I really miss having a relaxing soak in a hot bubble bath.

Yes - a cutie-pie - but for how long?
Cheers to happy times!

... they were cute, huh!

They wave back, Jeanie, even with tiny arms!

Tea and a hot warmie from the microwave helps, RedPat... Dinos say bye, too...

Iris Flavia said...

I do not have the patience for this, sadly...

Agreed in all points!

It was fun indeed, Kathy!

We near to never used the tub. And guess... the company put it on the sidewalk and WHOOSH - it was gone.

Iris Flavia said...

Yes, an exhibit made with love to the last "bite"! We used or tub as shower only. But I understand you could have a real use for it - maybe get one? It was but 3 days, if I remember correctly to switch - and not that expensive...

Iris Flavia said...

Yes, love to the last detail in the !show" - it was wonderful! And yet... I prefer a shower! Ingo´s parents had both!!!

Iris Flavia said...

In my mind was Sunday/Wednesday - I´ll pop over, dear friend! Much 🥰

Iris Flavia said...

Great dinos are just puppets these days, huh!

Iris Flavia said...

They yell "jippeeee, dear friend Linda!"

Iris Flavia said...

I hope dinos stay plastic and wee... Twice (!!!) I let people go in front at the cash-out as they smelled like really bad!!! Oh, juck! Guess you might stay close, hugs to that (I even one time had a trolley and put it between us!)

Iris Flavia said...

I have no idea if the video is real, but after all... two cats meet, right? And maybe the Lion was scared. I read yelling people are...
I had discussions with colleagues who said I´ll regret throwing the tub out. Never did. Our shower is that low, though... I could not take a fake-bath!
