With all the fighting on the political front I thought I bring some other colors in 😊.
And some "AND" instead of "or".
That was the last poppy of the year. And here...
Maybe just take a seat and relax for a while - on sunny days it´s still warm enough!

I love all of these colors. That second photo is perfect. However, I would drive that car. It is awesome.
ReplyDeleteNicole, I kinda bet you would be disappointed of that car - we called them run-pappmaché or- cardboard. And "us Wessies" were always terrified to bump into one with our "real" cars as they would break immediately! And the sound! The smell, huhhh!

Yes, Iris, we do need a bit of color and a bit of AND right now. I'm tired of defending my position when I KNOW people are just parroting what they have heard on TV, rather than doing real research to learn the truth over "fake news." Thanks for a bit of color in my life at the moment.

ReplyDeleteDearest Stevenson-little-Brother, oh, the Smurfs! Oh, that era is really long ago (for me). We called them "die Schlümpfe".
ReplyDeleteThe car... weee, they were a pest back then, but also a great symbol of hope for the people from GDR. Followed by huge disappointment for many. And we always really feared to bump into one with our massive "Wessie-cars"! Trabis were of like really cheap material and did you know parents ordered a car for their child... when it was born?
They had to wait up to 18 years for a Trabi.
Times long gone, luckily! Hugs to you!

Waaaa dearest sister Iris! A car for a baby!!! That is just amazing! haha I love the German word/title for the smurfs as you said! I keep pronouncing an dreading it not sure if I am pronouncing it correctly hahaha Oh Dear iris I sent you an email by the way, anytime you have time feel free to read it hahaha I can't wait till it's Weekend! I have gradschool work that I can do on the weekend because the deadline is still on next Wednesday but I really want to start it tomorrow before or after work, hopefully I can start and finish it, I still can't understand what I will be doing haha Wish me luck :)

Thank you so so much! And also another thought, that Green Car really struck something on my mind and I kept thinking what it was, Mr. Bean's Car! It has the same color and looks a wee bit like a mini cooper :)
