Am I glad I don´t

- live in Berlin
The "last generation" (let it be the last of that kind) is big on the streets in Berlin again, it was in the news big tonight, sadly.
Yes, again.
"For our future."
"For nature."
They glue themselves again on the streets en masse.
Hence cars have to stop, motors running (nature loves this).
People miss work, a date with the doc, a job interview, you name it.
One woman died cause ambulance was blocked and was too late for help.
Police is out and about for them - such NONSENSE.
From working people´s taxes, too.
To top it: They do not work!

At one point he applauded cause we always ended the other´s sentence.
Is it but Germany or do you have such mindless weirdos, too?
YES for nature but NO for stupid actions.
Do they suggest what to do better? No!!! They want to let government to know they need to act.
Nice. Kids, go play at home, with mama and papa.
And now, what do I do? Give them attention, also.
Publish, don´t publish?
I just wanna know: Is it the same in your place?
"Kids", actually "young adults" acting mindlessly like three-year-olds?
Finding a solution is difficult, I have none.
Mother Earth... we have no planet B.
But THIS?!
Rich, spoiled kids glued to roads destroying other people´s days for "no reason".
Go and TRY to find a decent job, prove you´re good enough at it so you can stay and then take a day off of your hours - be it a holiday, be it hours you worked in advance and glue yourself... do you still want that?
Cause next day (THAT IS THE FUTURE, TOO!) maybe you won´t make it to work due to kids glued to the street and you lose your job.

ReplyDeleteI don't get that either. Why do that to yourself? It's uncomfortable, messy, not to mention a public nightmare. Go chain yourself to a tree and get arrested if you want to protest but keep out of the public paths!
ReplyDeleteIt said on our news that they had to cut the pieces of road up around their hands to take them away. So I assume the road needs to be repaved?
