I´m trying my best - these were Dad´s fav flowers and.. don´t we all long for peace?
Still too cold ... Perth was too cold and here again too cold, 4C / 39F right now - but the sun is out and about.

I love sunflowers too. My mum always grew some for the seeds to feed her cockatoos, and I tried to grow some in several homes we lived in but they never grew for me. My Dad's favourite were carnations but I can't grow those either.

Sunflowers bring a smile to my face :) I saw those sunflowers again Friday last week when I went to Fremantle. Photographed another mural that was painted next to Bordalo's mural. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Iris.

DeleteDon't apologize for the light! Sometimes that bright, direct sun makes a mural look even more raw and real. It’s funny how we keep searching for warmth, but at least the visual colors here are 'hot' even if the thermometer says otherwise.

DeleteThe sunflowers are very nice to see. When we lived in Fairbanks on a big hill, at the bottome was a field of sunflowers, it was a beauty when it was growing.

Oh, dee, it´s still too cold to plant - but as soon... I´ll be at it! To happy "balconing" - the garden here is for all and no one cares, so I stick up here.
