From The Lion City To The Lion(ess)

Those who know me a bit can imagine what kind of fancy cake Niece gets for her birthday and why ;-)
Yips, I´m "afraid" of heat and I have no fun baking, so it´s from Bärenland.

Amongst other she gets the book "Are You Tired, Little Muffelmonster?".

It´s about a monster who wants a glass of milk, wants this and that so kids understand it´s no fun for the parents when they do this on their bedtime-routine.
Gah, I´m a bad Auntie!

But isn´t it too cute?

She also gets four CDs, one for each season of the year - I had to order it, so only saw when I had it it´s 5+.... hmmm. Well, guess a 4 yo can get it, too, no?

She also gets a cam you can use but once - actually a pressie for my Mum.

And some of these, hopefully this year she manages better :-)

I love bying pressies, but I hate wrapping - as you can see...

Mum gets flowers and Daddy....

... local beer :-) I just couldn´t resist!
And... it makes clear we live in one region - they can visit me, too, at times...

They don´t live in Goslar, but their village belongs to that town, so their cars have "GS" on the number plates.

And since the zodiac-Lioness gets her pressies out of the town of Henry The Lion, the bag has to look like this, no?

Which I take back home, it´s such a practical bag.

Well, so much for a day off. Cleaned the bathroom, did laundry, grocery shopping, wrapping and soon I´m off to help with the party and hopefully also see the Moped. Sadly no Ten Without Ham, Da Nico is on holiday... And 13C only, but at least sunny... Summer where are you?!

Four years old already, I still can´t believe it!!!
