Old And New (Rituals)
Our Woolies is a tad different to the Aussie Woolies.
Once, ours is a cheapy for clothes, toys, kitchenware and stuff, second, it loves (our) location very much :-)
Quite frankly I prefer the Aussie one, but this is kinda cute, too, no?
Since 1879 you can buy stuff here.
Nostalgic, no?
As this:
My Granma used to love this branch, she dragged me in there when I was a kid to buy coffee and get me sweets.
Even as a kid I wasn´t much into sweets, so I was happy when later she took my "lille" Bro.
Yet, every time I pass this store here in Braunschweig I have sweet memories of my dear Granma...
"Ach choi, ach choi" is still in my ear when I think of her.
It was a tradition to go there, a ...
Ritual(s).
Do you also run into old rituals now and then like me?

Nice to have memories with the grandparents. Sadly I didn't grow up close to grandparents - on one side they died far too young, on the other side they lived in Portugal while we lived in Mozambique and later South Africa.
Woolworth! Not there's a name.
Not sure if an old ritual is worth...But my grandfather had me wear huge pockets so we would walk up and down rows in store and he would fill my pockets.
Coffee is on
We are a big family Iris, mine and Pat's together, so you can imagine we have many, many traditions 😀 most of them enjoyable, some not so much 😉
Sami, I had only this one Grandmother. The other died when I was 1 1/2, the Grandfathers long before I was born.
Revrunner you got one chain, too? Never have been to the US so far... sadly!
Dora isn´t that a bit like stealing ;-)
Grace, lucky you, ... mostly. I haven´t much of my family left and Ingo´s side.. they are a bit different, so to say.
