Tolerance And Red Thread

We spent Mother´s Day a lille different, we payed the DLR Braunschweig/German Aerospace Center a visit - they had their doors wide open.

Actually I certainly do not care about flying, I actually hate it, but when I found out about this event I let Ingo know, I tolerate that he loves this stuff, right?

This ...

... was not Ingo´s. Since 1995 Italian stuff haunts Ingo, it seems. The first drinkable coffee he found (somewhere in Queensland) was Italian.

This wasn´t ours, either...

Now to the red thread.

I learned it´s a very, very important thing when it comes to gliding flight.

I kid you not!

Maybe you knew, I didn´t - it´s all about motional resistance.
If that thread is missing you do not know if you´re flying with the wind.

It certainly can come in different colors, too...

But most were red:

The first time around I didn´t notice the threads, but now that I know of it´s importance...
Red also because in German a "red thread" means "a central theme/idea, a clear structure".

I had my first frozen joghurt slushie, was quite yummy, not only for kids.

The dude looks even yummier when he´s got his serious "explain-face" on and not this boyish grin.
Maybe he thought Ingo is gay, taking all those pics of him (there is one more, also grinning sheepishly).

Last we even went back to uni:

"Knowledge for tomorrow", how we eventually can safe energy by flying like migrant birds.

It turned out to become a real warm and sunny day and the place was packed like crazy.
I wonder, though, if all the mothers really enjoyed this Mother´s Day "gift"?
Maybe they just tolerated their hubbies and kids will do...
