These pics are from the begin of this month, I totally forgot about them but they´re too good not to share :-)
There are German words that are just plain stupid.
This we call "oldtimer" not vintage car.
A cellphone we call "Handy"!
And when you watch soccer on a big, public screen we call it (outchy) "public viewing"!!!
(Well.... on the other hand... death, soccer.... huh? ;-)...)
I could go on with a "smoking" for a tuxedo etc etc...
Our "wedding car" was our friend´s SUV and we had a rainbow, something special - especially in Perth, no?
And I was "stuck" between Ingo and their son in the back, too :-)
Mind you: What can be better?

BTW! I DO learn small talk! Late, but better late than never, right?
Ingo asked to buy 10 "TV-sausages", so I went and rememered the yummy potato-salad and ordered that, too, and somehow I... I!!!! - started a small talk with the "Fleischereifachverkäuferin" (another "beautiful" German word for someone who sells meat and such professionally!).
I´m getting old and I´m loving it!!!

The wedding car is great. I should tie bows on my car just because -- except the handles are recessed so I can't tie anything to it! Maybe the antenna! I can make small talk with strangers but it's really hard for me to meet new people I might have to see again!
