Fellow blogger Spare Parts and Pics has a truly great post here, that got me an earworm and many memories when we traveled Australia´s Outback.

I had no idea this song is from 1976 - my Dad fooled me till my school days. There is but classical music.
Certainly I found out there is more!
Mom had ABBA in the car then, after I was "lost" (I later on Dad´s request learned to play classics on the piano) - and I listened to The Sex Pistols. Never lie to your child!

The best car ever. To Germans they are male.
He was our car to drive through adventures, he was our bedroom and on rainy days in the Outback we had our lunch or dinner in him.
He was our home.
He was our protector. Built 1985. Took us around for 6 months. Best time ever. I sure miss the Outback a lot.
Car wash these days often mean you have a drive through.
I had one company car where I took care - boy, was I scared I do it wrong!!!!
Boss told me he never has a car wash so the next 3 company cars... well... ;-)

It can never be hot enough outside to hop in hot springs!

What a memorable adventure you had in that car! I would have loved to do something like that when I was young, but with 4 sons in tow by the time I was 22, that wasn't going to happen. Ah, the choices we make.
I don't do it enough because it's expensive but I love going to the car wash! I love the car youshowed -- the stories it could tell!
I love that cars in English are usually "She"
I like driving through the car wash and coming out the other end with a shiny car!
