Despite this is no real summer I join Elizabeth´s T with this summer drink (I am stubborn and hope for some more un-rainy, hot days).
P.S. @Ingo, please click on the link, there is a surprise for you!
The journal:
Monday: Project goes on- yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...
The customer´s customer wants MORE.
I only translated "1/3" and we still have all the figures (technical drawings) and stuff.
Maybe I am safe!
Tuesday: Do the first step once in a while, huh, just brave up. Did. Meeting with fL when I have my yearly talk with teamlead, being "present" is the result. Heck, teamlead still thinks I am lonely. I am not!
Wednesday: I must stop thinking I did something wrong when people suddenly stop answering!!!!
teamlead mK called and even took me on a mini-holiday through Norway... All the thoughts and sorrow for nothing (he shared pics of his real holiday).
Later I by accident offered him a massage. Do I hate autocorrect!!! 🤣 "message", not "massage"!
I can.not.work.in.the.office anymore. In situations like these I giggle like a teenager. "Massage"!!! Oh, boy.
Balcony time with Brian May´s "Mission Moon".
"Terminal" with Tom Hanks on TV.
Thursday: Meeting with teamlead mK and customer mS. mK got a pink pen from his daughter. Then held up markers in pastel. Guess what I got? LOL.
These say:
- "I believe in myself" - should do that more often!
- "Today is a great day!" - let us always be aware of this
- "Everything is possible" - well, almost, but I learned thinking positive helps! and, finally
- "focus on the good" - that, most do not do, the human being, I read, keeps in mind and heart the bad. Let´s overcome this!
Friday: Day off and got up before 05:00 a.m. And yet the day ran by!
fK is home from her holiday and I got a Max-double-dose 🥰
Here is part one:
We haven´t met yet in... "person"? Max and I... in real life?
One neighbor tested his e-guitar outside and then dumb-Mom (who let´s her young son address her loudly with "fuck you, Mom!") had to phone on the balcony. Ingo: "She has to, her husband cannot stand the silly-talk inside anymore." Yeah, so I have.
Reading on the balcony (Brian May´s "Mission Moon 3D"). Summer, finally...
Finally also I pimped my ever-old miniskirt with Vegemite!
As I bought the skirt in Joondalup/Perth it got a sticker from Freo/Perth and - darn it - I like Vegemite now!
Should´ve brought some home!
Weekend: Saturday: At the pharmacy I was told I am stressed out. I don´t feel stressed at all! The lady printed out three docs I can go to. Will do next week.
My doc years ago asked, "on a level from 1-10 -how stressed do you feel". I thought about it, said, "2..." - "You are a whoppy 10!".
To those who know me personally - am I stressed? I do not feel stressed!!!! At all!!!
New series, "Superstore" - fun! Cloud 9 :-)
As in barefoot-time. I LOVE walking around barefoot in summer.
Sunday: yay and nay, as some days go.Munchy (and on and finished with Brian May´s next 3-d-book, QUEEN):
Well. The plate! 😻 Or Granpa Max...
Happy T-Day!

Ohhh, I am sorry you cannot sleep! I hate such times! 15C/59F here right now, yes, pretty please... send the heat over! So I can wear the other 70´s shirts, too :-)
Crazy weather this year.
I was shocked listening to the TV in Perth, "hottest summer since recording" and here. cold... rain, floodings... Oh, some cool air from here to you and the lake, hugs!
It is after 11 pm right now and the temperature is finally down to around 80 F another mid 90 tomorrow I am off to see if I can sleep-getting up early to vote in our primary election-the one before the big one in november-and then food shopping have an awesome day hugs
Oh, that is still 26C!!! I´m sorry, I always have to look that up, Fahrenheit is a mystery to me....
Thumbs up for getting out to vote!!!! Hugs and hope you could find some rest!
This was a very hapy blogpost. Loved to read it, love those markers and your drawings. Have a nice day, Iris!
We are in a heat dome here. Temps over 100 F, 40 C. I keep my AC on all the time, or I would die.
Loved the "massage." I don't use auto correct, so have no worries. It can be funny or sad depending on the correction.
Loved seeing Snoopy and would love to see more of that Brian May book.
Your minty melon sounds delicious. Thanks ever so much for sharing with us for T this Tuesday, Iris.
Bertiebo, thank you - and have a great day, too!

Elizabeth, ohhh, 40C is heaven to me!
I have a whole book on autocorrect-fails. When I read this Ingo always thinks I´m crying cause my giggling obviously sounds the same...
Which book - Brian made (at least) two 3-d books! I´ll go for the moon first.
Thank you for hosting, dear Elizabeth -you have no idea how much you helped me in my out of work days!!!
I think a lot of my clothes are from 2013 or previous to that. I'm getting sick of them, though.
I like your outfit with the seventies tee. Some bloggers overdo posting photos of what they wear, but once in a while it's fun to see something like this.
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I love melon and would love to try that drink, the mint combination sounds refreshing. Glad you have more work, that must make you happy ☺️. Loved your pastel markers and the pages are always such fun. Glad you had balcony time despite your neighbours. Wishing you a very happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x
love all the pages and the pussy cat bowl and the marmite patch, clever idea, you eithter hate it...(the stain) or love it...the patch! And talking about clothes, I have loads from waaaaay back...I had ripped jeans waaaaaaaaaaaaaay before they were fashionable! Have a great week, Happy T day! ((Lyn))
Your weeks are always so interesting. Massage/message had me laughing out loud. Ugh to neighbors. You can have the Vegemite 🤢 and I'll take the adorable cat dish. Happy T Day
I do the same thing when people don't reply or contact me for a while. Why do I think I did something wrong, I don't know? And it's good to read that there's more work. That might sound strange, but it's worrisome when work slows down so that they might not need you, isn't it? And nice pimped up skirt. I like it.. Although I'll skip the Vegemite though. grin. Thanks for explaining your blog title too. And I didn't get by yesterday because we had a big storm last night and lost power until the middle of the night. Grrr. Have a super rest of this Tuesday. hugs-Erika
...I love your summer plates!
It has been raining here for 2 days so no outside time for me. It has cooled down here to about 22˚C today.
Mae, I agree, some post their clothes, my neighbor posts each and every coffee he drinks, each meal he cooks, etc.
And I don´t dare to "unfriend" him on FB cause... I might run into him for real!
____
Jo, thank you and YES to work! And argh to the neighbors. To a great day x
____
Lyn, LOL on the ripped jeans- YAY to 70´s clothes!
Oh, and ... it´s Vegemite (I by accident once caused a huge discussion in Perth, Australia about what is more yummy, Marmite or Vegemite....)
Happy T-Day!
____
CJ, massage-wise I heard nothing of my male teamleader... huhhhh...
I really now like Vegemite, it´s crazy!
____
Erika, why do we worry about it´s our fault? My friend said, we should not see ourselves as the universe ;-)
Nice to learn I am not alone, though!
Yes, ESE kept me quite a while without a project already! Well, if you try Vegemite often enough you might like it! ;-)
The "Double Half" results from the times Ingo and I had a weekend-relationship, btw. We had many things double but in the week we felt like being just half....
Oh, no. Here we not once were without power! Yet, Ingo bought candles and they have a fixed place for in case... Have a powerful day, hugs
____
Tom, will have one after grocery again!
____
RedPat, ack! 28C, sunny here!
The cat face bowl is very cool.
Yes, cute, huh!
It's me, back to answer your question about my tea pot. I do love these, Tea pots for one, I have a few, the tea pot on top and the cup underneath for storage, sometimes you get a saucer too, which is nice, coz then you can put your cake on it! I usually put two tea bags in my pot and put the milk in the cup first, then pure in the tea, its usually still strong enough for a second cup if you top it up. I've just noticed your cat faced bowl with the fruit, I'm having to same as that here! happy T Day ((Lyn))
Thank you, Lyn, now I got it!
So, so hot here! 95 again today. I officially hate summer.
Love the journal! Always fun to read.
I love the vegemite skirt. You could put other things on the other stains?
You probably don't feel stressed because you handle it well.
I like your drawing of the Viking boat to Norway.
Love your sketches!
Sue, I LOVE heat! Sorry you don´t... I very officially hate the dark half of the year...
The journal helps me to keep track of my life :-)
____
River, I got so many of these patches at the Freo markets I really need clothes to put them on! But I think Vegemite has to stand out on that skirt :-)
I don´t know. I really do not feel stressed.
fK said yesterday I am always "hibbelig", "jittery". But inside I feel calm!
I was so relieved mK is not kinda mad at me! And Norway really is beautiful, I never knew!
____
magigeye, thank you!
I love your patched up skirt. Great that you can still wear it after all this time. You look great in a mini skirt!
I'm happy for you that you still have a job.
I don't know the Brian May books. I like him a lot . Is it about him?
I like that cat. Who's is it? Are you cat-sitting?
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
