I attended a company meeting and came back late.

It was dark and raining, I parked in front of ALDI after cruising forever for a parking lot.

Which loading zone is On.The.Parking.Lot, behind the building, not in front of the door anymore.

Next morning we wanted to buy something at ALDI and....

 

My four-week-old company car was.... gone. 

Gone.

Four weeks old.

I nearly got a heart attack!!!!

Ingo drove to the police-station with me.

They claimed I had parked in the loading  zone!!!! And was hence towed away!

The sign for loading-zone was washed out, not visible in the dark and especially not in the rain.

And made no sense.

These days I would go against them. Really.

Back then Ingo drove me to where they towed my car to, I payed euro 53 and was just so happy it was not stolen and I had it back!!!

So: Look out!!! Even if it makes no sense and is barely visible, if your city needs money, your car will be gone.
