I know, I know, we´re far away from Christmas (though I bet the first x-mas-stuff will soon sit in the shops).
Went shopping on Sat and amongts other I finally got George Bailey´s wonderful story on DVD. Will you believe it, Ingo does not know the best Christmas-Movie ever and since I had it only as .mpg it was a great excuse to say no to it - haha! This Christmas Ingo is due! In English!
For now he´s back in Luebeck. Tomorrow at 8 a.m. the docs will see him. Meanwhile his oldest nephew has his first day at school.
Oh, seesh. "It's a Wonderful Life" helps me out tonight. Weather is plain awful, too. Makes me sick.
Ingo hopes/thinks he´ll be back home tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed maybe?
And don´t you love this Christmas-Movie? Do you know anyone who does not know it? Or am I getting old? HA! Ingo is 7 years ahead of me, that can´t be the reason, age ;-)

You're going to laugh at me, but I have NEVER watched that movie. I haven't because here, they play the commercial for it about a bazillion times in a row and I get to the point of saying "ACK! I'll NEVER watch that because they won't stop playing the advertisement of it!!" Maybe I'll watch it. Shamefully -- and I do mean SHAMEFULLY - one of my favorite "Christmas" movies is "Bad Santa". Do you know it? It's truly horrible!!! Filthy language, mean people. The first time I ever saw it, my jaw was on the ground the whole movie. It took a full 24 hours for me to digest it and then I thought "hell... that was pretty damned funny!" (in a sick sort of way!) So I watched it again and I laughed and laughed. Yes, you must have a 'twisted' mind to enjoy it! I hope Ingo comes home right away!
Hmmm, no, haven´t ever seen Bad Santa, but´ll keep my eyes open around that time.
Oh, yips, I can understand you get sick before seeing if they throw it on you all the time as ads!
Sad, cause it is a sweet movie, I think.
Good news: Ingo is back home!
I put my hand up for not knowing it. You can't beat National Lampoons Christmas Vacation for a Christmas movie, can you?
I haven't heard ot it either. It looks interesting though and now I want to watch it.
