There was absolutely no traffic on my way to work shortly after 05:10 am, so I could just pull over, get out and take this pic of these beautiful poppies!
That was with HDR, at first I tried without, oh, what a difference, no?! Without:
"Blind-shot" on the way back, awww, too far away but can you see the blooming red carpet?
The Perth Gallipoli-Poppies are only 2 cm high and luckily survived the heavy rain on Saturday.

Me, too, love both, the pots are there every year, right behind Alte Waage, I enjoy them every season.

Whole fields of poppies like this really are breathtaking.
Gosh what a difference in the light at 5am now compared to just a month ago Iris. The poppies are glorious, can't wait to see the Perth poppies :)
Yes, I just love poppies! And I so do hope the Gallipoli ones make it! 17C today... Brrr, "summer"...
