This is the garden of hearts at Platz der Deutschen Einheit, the place of the German reunion, where you also can find a piece of the Berlin wall.

That little garden with the harbor looks pretty, but should be bigger as you say. I think that picture of the Christmas tree in Perth looks like it's where the green cactus now stands.
I'm glad a little remainder of the wall is there to remind people of silly wars and divisions.
