Now. I live in a strange world somehow.
I always imagined it would be a woman´s job, or more precise the secretary ´s job to “provide” everyone with seasonal goodies, just that this is the first time I “work” in a place that has a secretary.
And even two more female co-workers!
Yet it was male colleague E who arrived with a bunch of chocolate Easter bunnies for everyone on Thursday!
Before that, at VW, it was the male VW-colleague M to do so and for Christmas my male teamleaders.
Chocolate btw... Niece called me to wish a happy Easter! Bummer, she´s so mature! The Easter Bunny brought her ... a bikini! She is six years old! And after all truly a girl/taking after her Dad chewing one´s ear off on the phone, LOL. Amongst other she found heaps of chocolate - and understands she has to get measured before having one.
On me offering her my chocolate Easter bunny she declined, she has way too much chocolate already.
So. I´m still stuck with that sweet stuff.
How about your work-place, do/did male or female colleagues bring some chocolate “joy” to you?
Or is this typically German anyways?

Beautiful spring blossoms everywhere Iris, j'adore the tree lined street last post, the one that's not yours unfortunately ☺but hey it's so close you can enjoy it anytime right! Hope Ingo remembers not to do anything to set him back, it's difficult to be patient sometimes! Your niece sounds delightful, they grow up so fast don't they!

Apart from 3 male Doctors, the other Drs and staff are all female. As Practice manager I usually buy chocolates for my colleagues and for the Drs that work on a regular basis (not the ones that are only there once or twice a week..)
One of my other colleagues also gives the reception girls chocolates.
Kids grow so quickly and seem so wise even when young.
So it is only my quirky way of life here... Aw, well. At least someone does the chocolate-job, right, "Easter Bunny"? ;-)
