Thanks for coming over to Marmelade Gypsy! I smiled when I read your profile. Since 1996, my partner Rick and I have lived in separate spaces, two blocks apart. We spend weekends together as you and yours did, and often we see each other in the week. His boys refer to me as their stepmom, even though we aren't married. We both know if we ever lived in the same space our different styles would probably drive us both a little crazy! But it sounds as though you two have found the way to make it work. Good for you!

Well that's a first Iris! I wonder if they attended separate classes also. I know back then boys were considered much smarter than girls... Pfffft! How wrong they were 😀
