Where (Am I Going)

Waited outside for over 50 minutes with my neighbour yesterday for my food.

Well, we were chatting along, that is.
From stormy weather.... you know.

Sadly my food came finally before I could learn why their wedding day is on my birthday (winter!) - she´s in her late 70´s and oh-so-afraid to loose her hubby to death.

Ingo showed me that flower in pic above.

As oh so often, got nothing to do with me, I´m but a structure (grey-green, btw).
Someone (may I call him a friend?) once said, be glad your Dad was no heart surgeon, otherwise you´d be named "Aorta" ;-)

Glad, indeed, my Dad was, amongst other, "just" an optometrist.

Oh, if only I got my Ingo back...

Yours, Aorta

That would have been a funny name Iris. In Australia there are kids with some weird names, the parents just make up names.

You will chat with your neighbour again at some point and find out the end of the story! Everything ok with you and Ingo? Are you all sorted now re cabin ##79?

Sami, yees, , here, too, people give stupid names to their kids - poor ones!

Still sorting out stuff with my bank, Grace! But, who knows, if I need to at all. Life and it´s people can be rather cruel at times, taking everything for granted, maybe even me included. No... Not the latter.

I'm reading things backwards and I have a feeling I'm skipping about to much, but I see something feels very wrong, very sad -- not just the loss of your friend. I am sending love, hope, good wishes for you and concern about you and Ingo.

I love the Iris flower -- my aunt was named Iris and it has always been one of my favorites, partly because of that and partly because it is so beautiful.

Thank you, Jeanie, for all those wishes - they are very appreciated.
I do not know what went wrong, but it went very wrong indeed and yes. I am hurt. Still.

Funny. In Australia my name seems to be unknown, someone in a restaurant even noted "Irene" instead.
I found a Mother´s Days card where my Dad´d painted the flower btw :-)
