Morning Has(n´t) Broken Or Let Down Your Hair
Yesterday morning (sorry, if I gave you an ear worm) I got up rather early (for a Saturday) to get the bread to bring along with Miss Mango.
It was still dark. I had my muffler, the one Ingo´s late Grandma made for me, a baseball cap in case it rains (I wear glasses), above my woolly hat, gloves, but... hey! 6C! When you´re used to 0C that´s pretty warm, off the stuff went, I even had to open Gurri after a while.
The pic? Hmmm, shortly after 07:00 am on a Saturday and so many push bikes at TU. Are students still in, already in or did they walk away, leaving the bikes?
It all was so beautifully calm, not a soul around.
After a while the first birds started chirping, a car only here and there, then rain really started, it was bliss!
At the bakery "my" lady gave me a very astonished look as I usually come by on Mondays. I grinned and, despite it wasn´t my turn yet, her hand immediately went to "Ingo´s" bread!
I said "no, no, no!!!" (how did that happen?! Sounded like an emergency call) - and then she remembered I had ordered three small breads and already paid for and, again, despite it wasn´t my turn yet, she went and fetched the bread and on my leaving called "greetings to the hubby, Mrs K!". Am I lucky no one complained!
Back home we added African salt and CRABBS beer to the bread, wrapped Miss Mango in newspaper and took off to Wolfsburg.
We could easily spot T´s new home from afar as he lives in the so-called Rapunzel-tower.
We didn´t wait for him to let down his hair, but used the bell :-)
He lives on 10th floor, so we decided to take the lift.
Hmmm... you could choose: floor 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11...
T was already waiting - he said he´d shouted we´re supposed to take the left lift, the right one takes only every second floor. Aw, well.
By golly. A whole buffet he had created! We had to take a lot home, no cooking this weekend :-) - for neither of us!
Time just flew by and hence we ended up in a time slot where all parking spaces were taken.
Murphy´s law. After cruising around for some 15 minutes and parking far, far away we came into our part of the street... big free parking space, later on the way to REWE.. two more.
Aw, well. Miss Mango is on vacation.
Lion of the day in Neue Strasse, let down your hair!
Happy/thankful: A fun time, yummy food, safe drive, calmness, birds.

Yes, Grace, we know each other since... at least 10 years (OMG time runs!).
Now I´m curious what you´ll be out and about for early tomorrow!! :-)
Yes, Miss Mango will be taken care of real good, I suppose.
The house of science particularly stands out.
Yes, I´ve never seen it like that.
I agree with William, the house of science really stands out glowing red like that.
All the best Jan
The 1st pic is melancholic.
Now it wouldn't hurt me to possible ride a bike.
Coffee is on
Jan, yes, and I have noi idea if there was a special occasion for the color...
magiceye, really, hmmm... I think you aree right, I had a feeling of loneliness indeed.
Dora, brrr, in the cold I don´t ride a bike anymore, it hurts my eyes...
It sounds like a terrific day! And your bread lady rocks -- lucky to have such a nice employee who knows you!
Well, actually I felt embarassed at the bakery - it was not my turn and I was in no hurry, either!
But, yes, she is always so nice to me! She and another colleague know us for 10+ years, too.
