Yesterday morning I really had to fight my way to the tax and revenue office.
Not out of "fear", but weeee, it was very stormy. In the city!!
And hence I got this in my ear, "when stormy weather...":

I don´t know (yet?) why people always complain about these offices. Again I had a very nice man taking my way too late tax declaration with a smile and a "doesn´t matter it´s so late".
OK, to be fair: I sent it in in time, they had a technical problem... either way it´s late.
And to my announcement there are still wrong numbers, "aw, well :-)".
Aaaand again. Shops were still closed, heck, I never learn. But the castle looks good in this light, no?
Went to the White Horse to get some toothpaste etc for Perth and bought my very first celery.
And I guess it was my last one, too.
Do you like celery? I thought it tastes kinda odd.
Put it in the pan with some oil, added Harissa and rocket. Well, it was edible, nothing more.
Any idea what to do with the other half?
Brought more books to the phone booth after visiting my therapist, who wished me a Happy New Year, again!
She did so on the phone already - so I reckon it will be a happy year, no?
Funny was: I told her of the new medication I´m supposed to take (after Perth and only eventually) and she´d just looked it up for the patient who was in right before me.
Seesh, grey all day again, but luckily warm and hence no snow.

Happy/thankful: Called a civil service, usually in Germany known as always slow. Asked for sending some document via .pdf. One minute later: Document was here! And he was very friendly, too! The little wonders in life! The days are getting longer, oh yay!!!! And the nice tax-guy.

Stormy in cold weather ... yuk. I use celery raw in salads and with dips. I cook it cut up small in various dishes e.g. spaghetti bolognaise
Actually it even was a tad refreshing in that storm.
Hmmmm, now I do wonder if we got different types of celery or if I simply do not like it? I will taste it raw, come lunchtime, other I thought of cooking it up in broth.

Sounds like a not-bad day over all. I do like the photo of the castle. I prefer celery raw, with a tasty dip or if you like peanut butter or cream cheese (especially with extra flavors added in), cut it in slices and "fill" the gap in the celery with a good spread. It's nice and crunchy and no calories (of course, you wipe that out with peanut butter, cream cheese or dip!)
That castle shot is quite moody.
Jeanie, I do believe we have a different type of celery here, I´ll post a pic tomorrow - from the grocery store, I won´t buy this again ;-)
