(No) Icecream-Truck
When I came back from the doctors I heared music, like back then, when every Wednesday all us kids ran to the icecream-truck, barefoot.
Just this time it was a truck that sells meat and stuff.
Sadly they had nothing for my liking, so all I took was this pic.
Mostly the older generation who wants no supermarket- but fresh stuff goes there - a great idea, no?
It wasn´t a good day anyways.
Went to the new doc.
He was scatterbrained, mixed up info, obviously at one point had gathered his knowledge and never moved on.
Computers are for work only (I said with citalopram I only sat apathetic in front of my PC), on the wrong advice to stop that med from 100% to 0% and what happened he stated it could not have been the drug but "something else" and when I just mentioned the word "Internet"... huuuh. Internet is bad, all lies, no real knowledge.
Yah, sure.
On my request for something on non-chemical meds he just said, take valerian.
After our holiday I´ll look for another doc.
Went to our family-doc to get the document for the insurance company... total breakdown.
No internet, no printer, nothing worked, they were #27 at the hotline. Oh, bingo! No one had a sewing machine, not even a book! Poor girls, they were bored to the brim (I always had a paper-book at work for that case).
Well, there are days and then there are days, right?
At least I did some walking with those visits and also expanded my training.
Thankful/happy I did 38 300 steps, 24.3 km, 2876 ckal and started a second training-program (sorry to bore you, this is just for my motivation!), got another tip for a doc and the snow just melted right away when touching the ground.
Lion of the day. Represents that scatterbrained "doctor".

I can't believe the number of steps you are managing each day. I went to the doc today too a new one he seemed nice and competent.
It sounds like that doc needs a few lessons about treating patients.
Joan Elizabeth, it just adds up over the day :-) Plus I get up early and to bed rather late. Goon on your doc!
William, yes, and about gaining knowledge of today´s things, too!
Tough to get good doctors. Great to see you have embarked on your training program. Best wishes.
Thank you, magiceye, yes, it´s not easy with doctors...
Don't ask me what I think about doctors Iris.. it wouldn't be very flattering 😀 I'm sure there are many good ones out there but.....! At least you are doing the best for yourself by keeping fit ✨
I´m so with you, Grace! Though our family doctor is a real good one :-)
Perfect visual representation of your doctor. Yes, time for a new one. Hope you can get all your paperwork soon. (And I ALWAYS carry a book! You never know!)
Thank you, Jeanie, they let me wait and YES! Always have a book, also in my car (back then).
I always used to keep a book with me … just in case.
All the best Jan
Yes, always the best thing to do!
