Mr Murray Again
In a city like Perth, modern and all, it was kinda refreshing to see such a phone!
This is still Murray street - reckon these are lamps?
At least I couldn´t detect any caged birds, luckily.
Here is another beautiful example of preservation:
All the sightseeing made me thirsty, so I went to The Belgian Beer Café.
By myself - and no one thought that´s odd.
On the contrary! I stood at the bar, a tall guy suddenly stood beside me. The bartender thought either we belong together or that he was there first and addressed him.
The man replied that I was there first :-)
Well, maybe he guessed my name? ;-)
Another thing different to Germany:
Even young construction workers can afford such a quality beer here.
Not the case in Germany! Here they go into the supermarket and grab a bottle of local beer (at least that and not the total, icky, cheap stuff). And, yes, liquor, all kinds of, is available in ordinary supermarkets.
Inbetween I took like a gazzilion shots of murals that wait for Monday murals!
And there is still more to come, such a beer gives you back your strength ;-)

...it's interesting how somethings are the same and some are different around the world.
I love seeing and hearing your memories of Perth Iris 💙
Yes, Tom, it is, indeed :-)
Grace, you´re very welcome!
A strange combination of old facade and new building.
Yes, Perth has pretty much of that!
Slowly catching up with you! I love seeing a "real" telephone in public! That's pretty rare these days!
