I was so nervous due to the job interview yesterday I went to the city - I´m on "holiday" after all!
What did I buy? Paper-bags for Ingo´s brekkie and lunch and hand-cream for myself, oh, life is soooo exciting 😂
The cream smells of lemongrass, hmmm...
And on my way back the sun was shining bright, see first pic.
Isn´t this beautiful?
It was cold and I sure had to take a shower - in the shops you get baked, literally.
And what happened?!
Part of my earring left my ear, seconds later the rest, in the shower.
One of the earrings I got pierced in honor to my Dad, in Perth.
And - guess what!!!!
My Brother strongly believes they still watch over us and what are the chances.
I am short-sighted, water was running, yet...
I found them both in time (with my feet).
Dad, you are still a funny dude.
Those weird 70´s men´s games!
He also had a very serious side:
The interview, I think, went well.
I was told they send a contract.
I am a realist, like my Dad was, and only believe it when it´s here and signed from both sides.

I am so glad you found your ear ring too Iris, hoping you get that contract in the mail-and hoping you get my letter this time too-mailed it yesterday. Used to take around 2 weeks to get to you-hopefully they won't lose it again. I also did not add the waxed seal to the back of envelope-maybe they did not like that haha

I'm really glad you found those earrings, especially when they mean so much to you. I often seem to lose one earring and have quite a collection of the not-lost ones moaning because they have lost their mate!

I once lost an earring in the shower, straight away I put my foot over the floor drain and turned off the water and found it. Now I never wear different earrings anymore, only the tiny gold rings to keep the holes open.
