Sometimes you saw no other car for days but if you did you lifted your hand and greeted.
You saw them coming long before you met, too.
Had that job-interview on Thursday, which was quite promising.
"Let´s sleep a night over it and then we call."
Waited all Friday. Nothing.
Waited like for like for such a car.
Guess either Ingo is right and they need days or it´s but a "no".

Said in my application I want to work in Baunschweig.
We can work from home if we only need a PC.
I did not move to Braunschweig over 20 years ago to drive to a different city for every f.... working day.
Need a car, pay for gas, service, risk my life for a job I can do from home!!!
I am so darn disappointed I lost my job due to a woman who did not work.
I hat 7 requests in 3 months and it took me 2-7 minutes each to do her job cause I´m a newbie.
What did SHE do all day????

Worked as Bid Manager, on top, but no more jobs/bids big enough come in...

No time for a pity party, Iris. Get up, dust yourself off and be very, very proud of what you accomplished. You learned a different program and made many people you helped happy and satisfied. You did it while smiling and making them feel good, too. You will get more work over time, dear.
You are right, Elizabeth. Maybe I´m a pessimist after all, I struggle hard atm.
If you say you call me the next day, no matter with what answer, but DO. Don´t let me sit and wait.

Don't give up hope, Iris. It's still only a couple weeks out. You learned and did a lot in the time you were there and you have these new skills as well as being bi-lingual (which I think should count for a good deal) in your pocket. The right thing will come along. I'm sure Siemens will give you a fine reference as well and explain why your tenure was so short, should they be questioned.
Your glass is neither half empty or half full. You have a glass. That's something. To be honest, I've never heard during an interview that they would get back to me the next day. Usually several days/weeks. Keep looking. Something will turn up, just like this job did.
It is the weekend and they probably have to interview other people so you will probably hear next week. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!
I agree with RedPat, you'll probably hear something next week I know it's hard to wait but unfortunately that how most places operate. Hope you get lucky, hang on!
It is not your fault.
At the very least they now recognize that the employee you were filling in for was unproductive.
You may well hear something next week, don't give up, stay positive.

I think their behaviour is a bit rude tbh, if they say they are going to call they really should. It's a bit like tradesmen who say they will be there to fix something but don't.
Keep hoping, I feel sure a new job can't be too far away.
I trust something will turn up soon. You sound determined, and that's a good first step. I'd love to go to Australia!
