Tuesday: ALSTOM-Uni, no news what´s to come. Not a good feeling...

Later a movie with Jan Joseph Liefers. Guaranteed it´s thoughtful and fun as well, The Man In The Tree. Feminism turned backwards.

Question: Do you watch movies because you know the actor is good and expect hence a good story?

Oh, I´ll miss him. He had a question, we chatted nearly an hour and he said likely end of year I´ll be back on the team (my contract ends with end of June).

Had to hop to Perth and make it to Madeley on my own, him watching - I have NO orientation! But zoomed down even to where our bus-stop is 😁
We chatted nearly 1 1/2 hours, loads about Perth (he traveled `Straya, too), loads about the system at ALSTOM he fights with.
It was a good day, full of hope.
5 sessions of training, weather: shitty, cold.
Weekend: Saturday: Sketching, 1 training and as it warmed up a bit... balcony time and BBQ - tomatoes, mushrooms, pepper, ham, topped with cheese, hmmm.
Sunday: Summer is really back!!! Yippeeeeee... BBQ again - pics to come.
Ingo went inside and I was reading Calvin and Hobbes when... "Loving me, oh, loving you, ahaaaa..." - just a hint to my hearing ear... Someone up there sadly very decently played ABBA-songs!!!! * hahaha, River is right, "knowing", not "loving" - my ear was in a romantic mood (it was really very silent, just an idea to be heard).

I am the same at 5 ft 1 or thereabouts. I don't know exactly, those are very high shoes but you know that saying...good things are in small packages.

I watch movies because the story sounds interesting, then if one of the actors is good I will watch more movies with that actor, but sometimes the story isn't good so I don't finish it.

I can relate to being short. I don't usually mind it but reaching things on the top shelf of cabinets, ugh. I have step stools all over the house because I need them-smile. I don't have any high shoes like that though. I didn't realize how short I was until I recently looked at a photo of my husband and myself-ha ha. I'm loving your latest journal pages, and it sounds like you're very busy planning your trip. I love trip planning for the hubby and myself. Ha fun-I hope you like doing it too. Good morning, my farm girl Grandma was very very short and had a really neat metal step stool she used around the house-it pulled out with steps, when not in use the steps pushed back in and then she would use it by the phone and sit on the top-back then when I was a kid she had one of those party lines-many people on the same line with same phone number-they had to share.

I don't watch a lot of movies but Indo pick movies with certain actors - like I know Tom Hank's movies will all be good. I am more a story line selector - the story has to be interesting. I do pick books because of authors - definitely.

I must admit since we’ve had internet TV we’ve been finding films and programmes through actors we like, I also love cowboy films, although some have been so awful we’ve stopped after a short time.

Es wäre ja toll, wenn du wieder in das selbe Team kommen würdest - ich drücke die Daumen, dass es auch wirklich klappt.
Gibt es in Deutschland keine Sonnenschirme mit Kurbel? Wir haben nur noch solche, denn ich bin auch klein und hatte immer Schwierigkeiten, die Schirme aufzuspannen. Meistens lassen wir sie sowieso aufgespannt außer bei hohem Wind und Red Flag warnings.
Sorry I'm late visiting. Lightening took out the electricity last night in my neighborhood. The cats and I spent the night in sweltering heat and only the electricity from my portable OTT light. You would have loved it. I was in misery.

After reading about your week, I need a nap. 😉I am not tall and I've lied on my driver's license that I'm 5 ft. 2in. for years. 😺Now that I'm a lot older, I know I've shrunk. 😺When I was little, I used to practice being tall by standing on a chair. so I would know what the world looked like from up high. I watch movies if my favorite actor(s) or someone who is known to be a good actor like Anthony Hopkins is in it. Happy T Day
