Wish....
None of us does anything.
I made sure we have the cabin in Madeley/Perth.
But which hotel in Frankfurt???
It had closed, re-opened under another name, HECK. Does it exist still?
How book?
Flixbus hence, where to exactly.
Long weekend. Did he do any .. cable-dance still.
Wish we could be like back then, in the pic above.
We lived with Ingo´s Grandma, this was on the balcony.
Carefree, happy, in love.
Now...
Sorrows.
Worries.
And my f... arm.
I do NOT want to sit with sick people in a small doctor´s waiting room for over an hour+ just to wait to get a virus, whichever.
I never felt so lonely and helpless and my presentation-day creeps in.
I am 53 years old and a trainee!!!
How frustrating is this?!
I can present my diploma, I am a graduated engineer.
And a trainee.
They handle me like a colleague cause that´s what I am.
Why can´t Ingo see me like that.
If I lose... my job is gone. So much is at stake.
He is safe and close to retirement. Maybe....
I bought. Again. Wish we were like back then - I still love him.
Maybe a weekend-relationship teaches you the worth of being able to be together.
He lost this thought, sadly. We did this 13 years...
"Our everyday objects and their unusual origin stories
The devil-thought changed during the Italian Renaissance, when people discovered syrup-dipped fruit as a dessert. This treat was far too sticky to eat with your fingers, and sinfully sweet enough to overlook any devilish associations."
Henry 🦁
And yes, that is my wedding ring in the background, on my left hand, as we married in Australia. Germans wear it on the right. Why ever...
My left hand, that is in use so much now, darn it, that right arm is of no use, I have to "carry" it with my left.
Things could be worse but I am fed up!!!! Can do no sport no, nothing cause it hurts.
Last time it took three weeks with a torn muscle, those are over and it still hurts.
Is something wrong with my the titanium plate inside?
Can´t be, two doctors told me nothing can go wrong. That was 1995, though.
Try to get a (good) doc? Where, when. No time.
Doctors, as many of you write, too, are hard to get by. Here: "We cannot take new patients, we are full."
The two I have... money they want to make, they do not care for the person and both are Internal medicine, no use for an arm.
The ring is titanium, too, btw - hardest material and from Western Australia.
Last minute we bought our rings, in Joonadup with a friend who couldn´t believe I waited so long and NO!
Us Germans have sets. You Aussies do not! So... we ended up with male rings, the smallest was still too large for me.
Flushing the toilet? Keep your thumb on the ring finger!
Bro - goldsmith - wanted to make it smaller in a blink of an eye.
Yah-yah, lille Bro. That material - titanium - did nothing. Booh! He hung on with his whole weight. Nothing.
He then had to RUN and JUMP with full force - and yes, those machines are from the 1960´s - and why not!
I did engravings for customers, too, as a teen. When you needed a hand, I was there.
It was normal back in the day. You helped. you were trained (a bit).
My arm-plan: Say on Monday: All good, back to training!!!

Does Ingo read your blog? If not show him the photo's and talk... talk
Sometimes he does but right now there is no way of "adulting". I have to accept that. He does not care how much he hurts me. And maybe it is my fault. But I am so stressed with the job, so much pressure I sleep and sleep - it is crazy. It must be my fault.
...Iris, hope that brighter days are on your horizon.
Thank you, Tom. ...
I'm so sorry, Iris. It must be a terrible thing to be experiencing right now, wneh you need the emotional support. Planning the trip and especially with the added stresses of work and your arm. Your colleagues respect you and have your back. And that's a good thing. I hope you find solutions very soon.
There is nothing wrong with being a trainee. In fact, isn't all of life about being a trainee? New stuff comes our way all the time that we have to learn. But I do get that we all want to be stable in our jobs by the time we have matured. I like these photos of you and Ingo. Both of them. Happy Sunday. hugs-Erika

Thank you, Jeanie, your words mean a lot to me. Ingo means no bad, he just does not understand...
Yes, one "manager" at ESE said, "aren´t you a bit old for being a trainee?" - I told him how life works these days... And wee. Is he a graduated engineer? I didn´t ask but told I am one. "Ha".
Thank you! And all that back... Life is OK, somehow.
I agree with Jeanie and Erika. {{{Iris}}} and don't blame yourself. Your dancing as fast as you can and doing a magnificent job.
I thank you, CJ. I think, though, I could´ve done better. Either way.
I love him and I hope we can make it somehow. Thank you for being here!
Sending you hugs Life is hard sometimes-just stay positive on things that you can-
Sending you hugs {{{Iris}}}
All the best Jan
Dear friend Iris, I agree with Jeanie and Erika. Don't blame yourself.
Your photos are beautiful!
Sending you warm hugs and lots of love.
Like the others, I say don't blame yourself. Perhaps there is something else going on with Ingo, maybe something at work. Being close to retirement maybe he is asked to teach someone new and he worries the company will let him go before he is ready? it's sad that you two don't talk, but I am also one who keeps things "inside" instead of sharing and talking.
We do have wedding ring sets, for man and woman, but usually they are gold or platinum, maybe silver too though I haven't seen any. my hubby and I had plain gold bands.
Posted a pressie to you this morning, hope you get it before or by Christmas.
Thank you, Kathy, I try, hugs back... arm and heart hurt....
Thank you, Jan, sometimes life is... running mad.
Dear friend Linda, I must blame myself. I think. and it does not even matter.
To better times, hugs and much love back... did I mention better times? ;-)
Yes, Ingo really trains a newbie. But I have stress as well. It´s bad times...
In Joondalup we found no wedding-ring sets like my Brother offers.
But the fun the found rings brought! And these sure are special, titanium from WA! Maybe a sign this will last after all and against the odds...
Oh noooo, Sami´d be available in time-gaps I could´ve given you. Too late, I am very sorry!!!
I also agree with the other comments. Don't blame yourself. Those photos are fabulous of the two of you.
Thank you... really...
