Those Two... Who Is Barking?

 

Maybe you know these two from Facebook already, they make me smile every time, here is their story:

 

"An English Staffy named Peggy befriends a magpie - even producing milk for this little frail bird because she thought it was one of her babies. 

Back in Sept 2020 Juliette & Reece were taking Peggy for a walk at the local dog park when they came across a weak lost little bird. 

Aware not to interfere they watched and waited to see if the parents were close by , but after a long period of time it was very obvious this little vulnerable bird was alone & within a few hours the park would be full of excited dogs full of energy, so they decided to take this little one home. 

 

'After seeking advice from wildlife carers we were able to nurse this little one back to health. 

 

Peggy and Molly became the best of friends, always together, playing ball, exploring the backyard .

 

In August 2021 Peggy had a litter of 5 pups, Molly was right by Peggy’s side throughout the whole process.'

 

The duo became a little trio when they decided to keep the only girl and named her Ruby."  

 

Soon we´ll wake up to this chattering every morning!
