My ticket to Elizabeth´s T - pic taken in Braunschweig - the journal comes from Madeley/Perth again.
Monday: Day off, laundry and such - oh, come on, we´re on holiday! Weather rather coolish.
Also ... once my underwear got stolen - I stay put!
Tuesday: Grace picked me up, we went to Waldecks and boy. Women can be SO LOUD!!!
After Grace was done with coffee (my stomach can no more) I grabbed my milkshake and we fled!!! You could NOT sit at the table and talk - you had to yell at one another!
We strolled through the plants and pottery, it was really nice and later we sat in the car, chatting some more - mind you, I had a jumper on!
Then Woolies with Ingo and relaxing, watching SBS Food - yes, that is holiday, too!
See: In Germany we do not get that channel and if we would it would be translated to German.
Wednesday: I am "officially" the only German that gets cold in Perth´s summer, LOL. The young man at ALDI where I bought long trousers to sleep couldn´t believe it.
Thursday: Perth CBD!! Kings Park! Aw, well - we are Germans. We sat ... enjoyed the view and had craft beer.
People get so excited about Kings Park - and it is beautiful. But when you´ve been there oh so often.... you just take the CAT (Perth Central Area Transit, it´s free!), hop off, enjoy and go back! And boy, did I see a grumpy man there. What the heck else do you want in life???
Friday: FREO!!!! I had the best of times - all by myself, well, nearly. Of course with the nice vendors. At one point I made a dash, got Ingo and he was shown how to do my hair! Yippeee... The lady was the nicest. Sadly I didn´t find the stand with the wildflowers as jewelry. Food.. Subway. Again untoasted, as Ingo likes it. Actually we should take turns! ( we always share a small one).
Weekend: Saturday: Thingz seems to close. I got some good stuff for low prices, but I felt so sorry for the girls at the cash-out.
Bought warm PJs at Big W...
New neighbors moving in all around, so good!!! This Caravan Park needs to keep going!
Windy and cold otherwise.
Sunday: PJ-Day, started cold, only 29C.
Internet-problems, google-problems.... darn 2-step-verification!!!
Wrote to Deutsche Bahn, hope they find a solution! Darn it.
Ingo presented me with a torch. For Monday... huhhhhhh... more to come.
And I thought I got straight into a horror-movie, but to my biggest surprise...
Sadly just a blurry pic, not even a video - this truck with loud melody drove through our caravan park!!!
With my bad ear I mistook it as from the telly, then grabbed the cam and RAN!
Asked if/when Clint´s Cones will come back.
A REAL icecream-truck with melody!!! Like in the 1970´s!!!!
Or somewhere in Outback 1999!!!

What kiddo eats a whole egg (very yummy btw), a tomato, three chicken nuggets with ketchup, all those fries, a pack of cheese, salad, raisins, cucumber???
Please, explain??? And a soft-sugar-drink on top. If we want that...
Cause... obviously, surprise... we´re not kids (always, anymore).

Well, it is summer here, but a coolish one...
The kids meal looks great but probably I wouldn't eat it all either. I know some kids who would, but I think it depends on the age of the kids, boys close to teen years would eat that much, smaller kids wouldn't. The twins would share that and eat the chips, the chicken and the tomato. Maybe the egg, maybe not.
I have been to Kings Park, it's very nice there.
Yes, I think kids - boys especially - growing might it that. What Ingo told me he and his Brother ate in puberty... huuuuiiii.
Now we are old and share and it´s still too much ;-)

Ursprünglich spielten wir ja mit dem Gedanken, sie in die Hotel-Laundry zu geben, aber die Preise haben uns dann doch schockiert. Wie bitte, dir wurde mal die Unterwäsche gestohlen??? Das schockt mich noch mehr! Frage: Wieviel Grad hat es denn gerade in Perth? Als Edi vor mehr als 30 Jahren in Australien war, hat er sich gerade in Perth verkühlt, weil es dort nicht so warm war wie in Rest-Australien...
Einen Eiswagen mit Musik habe ich nur in den USA erlebt, genauer gesagt in Florida, späte 1990er...

Some days are just PJ days! Like the black gurri in your drawwing. I'd kill for 29F! You had some fun shopping. If the CAT bus system operates anything like my cat, you'd never get anywhere. You'd go, stop, hang out for awhile, decide to go back the other direction, take a nap!
A free hop-on-hop-off bus sounds great. Even better that it's free!
Great that you bought warm PJs. I can't imagine you need them at 29C.
That kiddies meal looks very nice. I would have enough just eating that. In the UK, restaurants won't let adults eat children's meals. So people that don't eat much would order only one adult meal and then share it.
