BTW, Willow, I bought it at T€Di, a german discounter who doesn´t sell online (and I don´t know if they have it in stock anymore), it did cost one Euro.
"MY BEST FRIEND Hidden Magic Message in a Bean Seed Gift" is also available at ebay (in this case Switzerland - google doesn´t give me anything in the US...). But then... (almost) anything we have here has been at your place before, so I bet you can buy it straight in the US and make your nieces and nephews happy with one :-)

I found message beans online on eBay and I think I will check at the dollar store here (our equivalent of T€Di).* It's so cute! I think the idea of growing a little plant that has a message is something the kids will love.
What will people think up next? Growing other vegetables and fruit that have messages on them? Maybe there is a way we can grow an apple, banana or pear that has a label on it: no need to put a sticker on it or put it in a wrapping, just have the information on the skin.
*And while I am looking for the message beans, I'll look for those cute number sparklers that were on your mother's cake. More cuteness!
Oh, sorry Willow, but maybe the guys here in Germany aren´t too bad? Last year we bought apples with the Lions-label :-)
