We certainly ended up at Schadt´s, had "our" waitress, talked about broken feet (not me, she started about hers, her Sis's in Poland and mine), shared a Currywurst (just Ingo and I, on two plates)...
And I printed some weird pics - prove to come (See title).
On the way back home...
Paper-recycling-bins were just plain taken away from us.
But the news stated we´re all oh-so-happy with the new system.
Yup.
Hmmm... yum. 30C! The smell of plastic rubbish recycling-material...
Yips. Believe me. Germans love this...
I love my city/town, truly!!
But the politics? Where do those guys live, in heaven?

Yes, they took away the public paper-recycling containers and gave us blue bins instead.
But if you don´t have space at the house, they take it away. The tree were the bin was standing, disturbing no one, does not belong to the house, hence... gone!
You're not wrong Iris, politicians definitely don't live in the same 'circumstances' as normal folk! We had a MP shouting today about what he called 'whingers' people complaining about all the cuts in the new budget.. he said the whingers should see what it's like to live like some Asian countries do.. believe me he was FAT and horrible and I bet HE had no idea what it was like to budget!
Ha-ha, Grace, yes, send him over for a year - he will come back differently!
Here politicians speak of a "normal" wage of 3000-4000 euro. They should join your politicians, too!
