A Family Of Four

Believe me, they are four - Mama was just busy alll the time!

As always, friends are (really!!!) welcome to see the full pics here, sorry I have to split it up, it´s their wish and I respect it.

Whilst being up all morning, the now little Niece managed to sleep through it all.
It was really such a difference! At first Niece wanted up in my arms, hmm, ok, heavy, but manageable.

And then the wee one - my, weighs nothing!
But, as her big Sis is warming like my microwave sheep Dörte! How come babies are so warm?!

And those tiny, tiny fingers, perfect with fingernails and all.

I came with a bathtub, a doll that, as Mama and Papa found out can not only be bathed in real water, no I by accident got the "Mercedes" - the doll can be fed, like really, she can go pee and poo, it´s weird!

That also explains the diaper!
I got an extra bottle that makes noises and Niece was trying to get the "burp" all the time :-)

After you bathe a doll it needs... new clothes, right?
Monday in a week I´ll be in the toy store for sure!
They sold me a baby born doll and baby born doll clothes - but the clothes are for a baby born doll one size smaller - how am I supposed to know there are different sizes, that makes no sense and they should´ve seen it and correct it! Certainly I don´t have the receipt anymore - I hope the do it anyways - that´s why I went to a local toy store, specialized on toys!

Niece was very disappointed :-(

The doll came with a cataloge, boy, you can leave money there!
But... I said, "ice-skates? How silly is that?!" And Niece agreed: "Babies cannot walk, this is stupid!" - guess we save a lot of money here :-)

She wasn´t disappointed for long, she certainly unpacked her Sister´s pressies as well and exclaimed, "it´s like Christmas!" - ooops, did I overdo it a bit?

I don´t care. Mama loved the flowers as well as the gift coupon for a massage and Dad was happy with the chocolate dummy in pink and the Papa-keyring - his Cologne keyring is old, you cannot read what´s on it anymore - bingo :-)

The sun was shining and they decided we "visit our parents". I got squeezed between my Nieces in the back of the car and off we went.

Niece has a real hard time to adjust, she´s offended so easily, it´s really not fun.

So sad to see my parents´grave, so much they miss...

Next Thursday I´ll babysit, let´s see how it goes.
Bro said I can have her all day long, but warned me about how much energy she has with no kindergarten - so... kindergarten it is and me after that!

Hope they´ll become the best Sisters soon!

Addendum: Actually it was really hilarious! Whilst I sat with little Niece in my lap and Niece by my side, Mama and Papa were studying the stupid new doll, ahh-ing and ooh-ing on it.
I thought, dudes... you have a real Baby just right here!
Still have to grin...
Funny was also: Niece offered me chocolate - and was totally ok with me saying I don´t like sweets. No questioning, no nothing, acceptance.
