I´m Not Important ATM

Did I ever mention I have a great job?
Absolutely independent, the customer doesn´t really care what I do as long as I do a good job for him.
He even accepts my rather unusual worktimes from 05:45 - 02:15 and a day off per month on the hours I do more.

Over the last 13 years (help! That was 13 years?!!!!! Where did time go?!) my job certainly has changed.
In the beginning we were two people doing this, later even three. Then two. Now I´m the only one left. I worked real hard, then we got another base, technical-wise (liferay).

And with that, after having set it all up, I´m left with providing a service that... well. Leaves some time to learn new stuff.

Now I´m not allowed to get SASS installed at the customer´s PC.
I asked my boss if he has a laptop for me.
My colleague N installed all the stuff, explained how to use it on Monday, then we carried the heavy thing home.

I was joking what ### will do.
"You sure know you´re not allowed to bring a private laptop here", is the most likely version.
Do I love his sentences starting with you sure know, like a schoolmaster :-(
I would´ve answered, "yes, sure".

He would´ve died from that. Literally. He would´ve wanted more info!!!! He would´ve wanted to HELP!

Or him waiting nervously till I leave the office so he can see what´s on the good thing - not that he has an account.

Yes, it´s fun. It´s pure fun to let him run against the wall.
The most arrogant person I know. T calls him "Wiki", you get an idea why.

But. Alas.
W, who set up the laptop for me, somehow must´ve forgotten I´m not inside CGS but at VW!
It wants to log in on a CGS-server :-(

So all I can do is bring the heavy thing to the quarter-meetup tomorrow and pick it up again after my holiday.

And then, when I´m back home, I will say "yes, sure" and think - "ätsch, I´m more important than you. Because I really do have a third monitor."
He really still has three monitors, though since two years the PCs only support two.

The threesome-stuff was actually N, who had to delay our little meeting twice...
