I´ve tried something similar before and actually had a hard time, yet... I fell for it again!
I learned this at school btw and Ingo was great at it out of protest.

I think it was 7th grade whenI "learned" to crochet.
I kinda doubt I still can do it?
Can Ingo, dunno - he learned it cause in his time (he´s 7 years older than me), girls were allowed to crochet in lessons - so, Ingo made a point, right?

Ingo was the very first to let go of long hair and kids opened the classroom-door yelling, pointing at him: There he is!...

A female customer showed me how to start, but, ewww... the instruction must be translated to German from... I have no idea, it´s not understandable! Not even for her...

I also learned crochet and knitting in my younger days, but I think I would need some refresher lessons to start again.
Well, yes, I hope so, too! Guess SIL will "hate" me if I give the unicorn to Niece ;-)
