I Wouldn´t Do That (Yet)

It´s been warm lately, so yesterday we grabbed our practical Aussie bags and went to our nursery to get some flowers for the balcony.

And were told.... naaah, I wouldn´t do that yet - the Ice Saints might still come and destroy all plants!

Yah- Ex-teamleader will say today, I could´ve told you so!
How could I/we forget???

We didn´t go home "naked", though:

I got parsley, spearmint, lemon balm (yum!), apple mint and oregano.
Hopefully better from the nursery than from the grocery store.

And was told to bring all plants in if below 5C at night, too.

My chilli-seeds, aww, well...

The other day we went to Thomas Philipps and I got that super-mega-cool 70´s pot! As my bay tree had to move to a bigger place this was just perfect, no?

And just have a look at my one avo is thriving!!

And, mind you - I was pretty sure my wood-strawberries all had died in the frost, but, huge surprise, look whom I "broke free"!

Even the wee ones, how did they do that? Their tiny bit of earth was frozen for days and nights in a row!!!!

Another huge surprise - the grocery store cheapies do well, too!

Haha, let´s hope they´re all just strong and it has nothing to do with radioactive waste from nearby Asse II mine (ok, not funny at all!).

Can´t wait for the next walk to the nursery to get pretty flowers for our balcony!
