I certainly had to grab this book with postcards of 125 years of "my" city!

A while ago instead of "SCHLOSS ARKADEN" a very nice park was to be found as the castle was destroyed in WWII. 2005 they destroyed the park and rebuilt a copy of the castle, sadly.

On November 6th 1910 Braunschweig celebrated the "Parseval-Tag": The Prallluftschiff (Blimp and yes three "l" as you pronounce it prall luft, stupid, huh?) Parseval 5 landed the first time in Braunschweig.
Worth a post-card, right?

I love looking at photos of Perth now and then. I have a super book full of those kinds of pics too.. remind me and I'll show it to you when you come over.
I love books that show my city "back in the day." Or rather, WAY back in the day. This looks like a fascinating look at the city. (And I'm definitely a paper book person.)

I took 5 books to Italy, had no time to read but had to carry them. That´s when I bought my kindle!
