September has only a little glance on it, soon they´ll be gone...
So, let´s celebrate, right?
Even if they´re "illegal" (but the City of Braunschweig ignores or rather loves people planting and caring for the flowers).
Maybe for a while we still can enjoy!
We went for a nice Pizza at Guido´s to do just that. The wind was already a tad too cold. But many people sat outside.
A young woman - I did not dare to take a pic - she looked like she came just from the 70´s!!
Then an older couple took the table beside ours.
She wore a beautiful dress and I wanted to tell her but her partner kept talking and talking...
My therapist (still hurts to admit I have one - or, does it?) last time wore a beautiful - if black - dress and when saying good-bye I told her. She looked happy :-)
Sometimes it´s little gestures, so if you get the chance... DO :-)
The days are getting shorter, I hate this.
Colder, too. 14C? You have to walk real fast to warm up in just a sweater...
And I walk fast, I still refuse to take a jacket ;-)
I can be stubborn. There you have it...

Cherish those blooms! Enjoy every second. It's cooling here, though we may have what they call Indian Summer when it gets very warm before it gets very cold. I love that you celebrated with pizza. I know the woman would have loved to hear about her dress!

I have started to tell people if I think their garments are beautiful since other people often tell me so - it just feels good, on both sides.
I love those hollyhocks, such a beautiful old-fashioned flower. I always hated it when the days became shorter starting in late August. It happens here, too, of course, but not as profound. Days in winter are longer than in Germany, but on the flip side we don't have those wonderful long summer days either.

I love the flowers. I am getting excited because ours will be coming out soon, in fact the spring flowers have happened.
