Monday: Day off and oh-so tired!
Tuesday: Denmark for a change - teamleader M found very clear words. Yet... no reaction - what´s with some people?!
Others... super nice, ahhhhh, so good for a change!
Wednesday: 10+ hours of work and again, writing down less.... I have to share my monitor most of the time.
That is stress! Or help? Or... Dunno? "The woman" shares?
Sport as yippee-part.
Thursday: What?! Thursday again?
Weather rather... too cold, 10+ hours and mind you.
Twice I used the keyboard from my ALSTOM PC and wondered why nothing ends up at my ESE-PC, LOL!
Glad at least the ESE-mouse is smaller than ALSTOM´s, I realize this quickly.
Can you remember the days you had one PC and one monitor?
Now 2 work PCs with 4 monitors, one private with two plus a private laptop.
And two smartphones.
And that´s just me.
I bet in 5 years´ time we´re back to but ONE device and wonder about the complicated craziness of today!
Dead time > great new book, later the 30-minutes meeting took nearly 2 hours - with LOADS of laughing. After a hard day´s work this is necessary, I guess, right?
Sport, a bit.
Friday: Meeting with N from 7:30 till 12-something, quick break then on we went. J joined.
We are WALL-E.... the last one(s) clean up.
After 8 hours N said: "Enough!!! Happy weekend, we deserve that!"
I fail to understand so many things, how... at VW it was the same.
Us small people clean up and the others get the big money.
Thankfully I am not allowed to give you details.
Weekend:
A short kiss of summer - a kiss too big even - I am too small to put up the sun-brolly and had to go inside!
Next life I´ll be Hercules, I tell ya!

we have a diet dr pepper in the frig-leftover from our friends visit.

Those fries are from "Holland" - very, very yummy. Sadly always way too much, even the smallest portion. The veggies sit in the fridge, ready to go ;-)

I would love to send you some of this heat-it is really a bit much its almost 11 pm here and it is 85 f degrees
Buy some stickers in different colours, maybe stars? and put one coloutr on the mouse keyboard and monitor that belong together, then another colour on the mouse and keyboard that belong together and maybe not get them mixed up anymore.
I haven't had any fries in such a long time.
I stand by my front door sometimes and catch a little bit of sun on my face, then the clouds roll across again.

Mostly I only have the ALSTOM PC on, so, all good.
It was just so funny cause I automatically used the comphy "real" keyboard and... hm? Nothing? Oh!
We have an... air fryer and I learned in Australia you have vinegar with fries, hmmmm, we occasionally make that at home.
Would be about time again, salt and vinegar and a bit of ketchup!
And some hot weather...

Your drawings are getting so much better in your journal Iris. Every week I see that. Isn't it fun? I doodle in mine-the rule for me is quick drawings. Some days they are good and some days they are not. Have a great T day. Hope it's not too busy. hugs-Erika

That seems to have been a very hard week with so many work hours every day. I wonder whether people work actually more when they work from home. I see that with my husband - the past two + years he has worked way more hours than when he actually goes to the site to work. He goes back to in-person work next week and we both see it with mixed feelings.
The positive: Before I had 30 minutes to, 45 minutes back to drive, now it´s seven steps.
So, I don´t mind to work longer and come a time with less stress I can work less :-)
I am happy with this situation - good luck to your Hubby!

I have one monitor, one keyboard, one mouse. I don't think I could manage more than one monitor. There's a saying, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. 😺Wishing you some warmer weather. Happy T Day

I saw a huuuuuge, cool, expensive monitor where you can have 3-4 programs side by side. Very cool! One day that will be normal, I hope 😍
Your weekly sketches always make me want to take up a daily journal. I especially love that girl pirate from the can. It looks fabulous! And I agree, fries are perfect for on the run, or really any time at all! Yum!

I've been without electricity since about 6:30 pm yesterday. Never so glad to get my AC and internet back.
I think your steampunk lady on that can is out of this world. LOVE IT. I also am in awe of your calendar drawings. They are SO good and you explain anything I don't understand. Thanks for sharing that German beer and steampunk drawing, along with your daily sketches with us for T this Tuesday, Iris.
Yes I do remember the days of a pc and screen, I have been using a laptop for a number of years, much easier too
Son has a couple of computers, phones, and several monitors set up around his work station. I know some are linked to camera surveillance, but I often wonder how he remembers which thing goes with what where. In my day, we just worked with a typewriter!

Oh, my life is actually easy - I have two railway-projects, a tram in Frankfurt, Germany, and a railway in Denmark, nothing too fancy :-)

Amy, I could not work with but one laptop! I need at least two monitors. One with the programs to check, the other to document what I do and best is to have a third for e-mail, teams etc.
