My ticket to Elizabeth´s T... a "silent" water.
The journal, too?
Monday: Pain (torn muscle), Happy Easter. At least Die Maus.
Tuesday: Same. Minus Die Maus. The meds help a bit but make me so darn tired. Such a wonderful holiday. Again.
Wednesday: Rest.
The most boring week! Things could be worse, I do know.
Am to take 10 pills minimum. And they make me so darn tired. Day 8.
Thursday: Arm hurts. It´s really like a time-warp to 1994. But nothing went in there, so it´s but pain, all "good".
1994
I had a virus in my arm. That destroyed 3-4 cm of my bone. They took
some from my hip, clever guys that!!! But it hurt like hell for years
cause you have no fat there.
I can grow some fat now, ha-ha. Am immobile.
Friday: 09:00 am Ingo comes home. Sick. Food not good no more (my stomach took it).
Frustration. Sad and scary.
Weekend: Saturday: Met... tadaaa.... W 😘 We talked like forever. It´s so good he is out and about! Still talks about his late wife but looks forward.
A neighbor moved out whilst we talked. Yes, that´s how long that was!
And W used the sh...-word, "umm, sorry", - "oh, no worries, I work for ALSTOM, we talk like that, too."
He could be my Dad, age-wise, and we have so much in common.
Him the only man in his newly-found group, me the only woman, again.
Women soccer he loves.
Because:
Ladies, listen: Because women - according to W (I don´t watch that) play fair! Smart (his words). I don´t like soccer in general, more the footy and that is - in my eyes - for men only. As boxing.
My immobile thoughts on sport... Maaaayyybe I´ll start training again today, a wee bit.
I was a... you-know-what to Ingo. I needed a break.
Pain can make one mean.
French pain is for bread, much better than the English word ;-)
Sunday: A day to better forget. And learn: your bank will accept anything. But no one there if you run into a problem.
New week, new luck, right?
"AckpTT" - something you say after a bad time.
Food??? Hm.
As some of you complain your partner not always likes what you like, so what?
And I really, really can join Bluebeard and Elizabeth on the recycling theme this time!
Usually Ingo eats a banana a day, but Easter-Monday was a day off, hence...
AckpTT! As I type they say "QR-code" none-stop in half-German on TV. Do not recycle use that! My ALSTOM-teamleader would laugh his head off as I can type and moan at the sa... AckpTT... same time.

We all wait for Spring/better weather, do we.

sounds like a rough week still-hoping you heal up soon-no fun being in pain, cake in a tin looks cute-was it good? loving Henry Happy T hugs Kathy
Kathy, I think the cake was... sweet? LOL. Ham, please.
They have all sorts of cake in those. I tried a wee bit of "Kirschwälder Torte" - ewww, sweet!
Thank you, I´m much better already, health-wise! Hugs back
Most medications are well known for making people drowsy, it's why the packet says do not operate heavy machinery while taking them.
Brussels sprouts and ham seems an odd combination to me, although I like them separately. Cake and coffee together sounds good though.
I hope your arm starts to feel better soon.
Yes, glad I don´t have to drive a car! Did, couldn´t see (meds, too, back then) - 40% eye-sight - with glasses on!! Whooo.
Yes. Hm. Ingo often dislikes what I like. He can have his cake then ;-)
Arm is already better, thank you! I just have to take care I don´t overdo it (again).
Sorry to hear you had such a tough week. I hope you feel better soon.
best, mae at maefood.blogspot,com
Yes meds can sap all our energy sometimes, hope you're taking some good vitamins too. We had Easter Friday here off which was nice and quiet.
Mae, thank you, so much better I´ll be stubborn and start training again (maybe).

Amy, all good again. Only Friday off? Not Monday, too? Sad!
Your journal with the drawings is, as usual, very nice to see
I have not seen little cakes in a tin like that here-fun
Perhaps the next week will be a better one. Keep smiling, hugz Mxx
As my neighbor, Prissy (she was my W) used to say, Better days are coming. Sweet that you chat with W. I'll take the cake in the tin, but a cup of tea, please. Happy T Day
...continue to find fun and enjoy it.
Your journal drawings are always such a fun take on your day. Like needing to be wound up because you are so tired. That's great. And your black banana definitely needs to be repurposed so that is another fun drawing for Elizabeth's theme at AJJ. Thanks for joining us again. My husband and I don't always like the same things to eat for certain. I do find it's a bit boring because I want to make things that are different for dinner, but can't. But thank goodness for restaurants and going out to eat. Smile. Have a great T day Iris. How's your arms by the way? hugs-Erika
I like a wider variety of foods than my husband does. It's been frustrating in the past, but now I just fix food and he can eat it or not. Happy T Tuesday!
Here's to a better week. Very impressive drawings, Iris.
The drawings in the journal are so good, Iris. I'm glad the pain is getting better - I was worried when you didn't post yesterday.
I hope blogger lets this appear. Some of my comments don't show up.
Bertiebo, thank you! :-) This is motivation!

Hugs!

Divers and Sundry, YES to that, LOL!
_____
Bill, it is a better weekand thank you :-)
_____
RedPat, thank you - you go with Ingo - he came over to ask if I did not post or if internet is "broken"! :-)
So sweet/nice of both of you!
Oh Blogger.......
I really love this week's journal drawings, Iris. They're far more colorful than I'd expect a sick and hurting woman to do with great humor. Well done!
Sounds like a horrible week again. I hope you are better by next week. Your reclcyed banana is funny. Happy T Day
There was a power outage in my neighborhood and I have been without power for nearly 24 hours and that is why I'm late visiting.
Sorry to read how sick and bored you are. I guess adding bone from your hip is pretty standard today, but maybe not so in the 90s.
Wow, that banana is wonderfully drawn. It's perfect for Bleubeard's and my theme at AJJ.
Your mint cucumber drink is something I would LOVE. Thanks for sharing your drink, your calendar, and your recycled banana for T this Tuesday.
Jeanie, thank you very much! We need color especially then, huh?
____
____
Sharon, well, not horrible, just not good ;-)
Banana ist still waiting, not looking better...
____
Elizabeth, again?!
Oh, the doctors in MHH (Medical Highschool Hanover) were really pretty clever then!
Banana is still here and mumbles a mushy thank you ;-)
I´ll test the milk from last week and decide what to do... time runs too fast!
The drink was refreshing and not too sweet!
Sorry to hear how you feel over the week. Hope you will feel better soon. Anyway, I like these sketches from your journal. Those are colourful and express your feelings.
Have a great week and happy T day too!
I love adding cinnamon to things. Love the art. Sorry you don't feel good. Hope the tired leaves, soon.
Your week in pictures was very colorful! I especially like your portrayal of the wind up doll. I hope you are doing better and less drowsy. Sleep is awesome but not when you want to get things done.
The cardamom and cinnamon sound delicious! Two of my favorite spices.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
