Yes, that was true, 39C on the first day of Summer! A bit too early for those temperatures, but back to 25C today, a lot better to be outside.

I like Henry today. He looks warm. And I'm not sure I want it that hot, but seeing we're going into a very cold spell, maybe they could send a little of that heat my way. And I use a lot of Kleenex too with year round allergies and the dripping nose I inherited from my Mom. Happy mid-week. Hugs-Erika

Perth is right by the ocean, so it´s a good heat, RedPat. I even saw joggers in 43C - and remember... the bitumen throws 30C back, so... I would not want to jog - too hot... but for leisure... wonderful!

Dear friend Iris, that kind of heat is unbearable for me! I am glad we are having Winter here in Montreal, it is to be minus 25C, and I do love the cold, because I can dress warmly for it. I love Winter and snow...I just need to be careful if it is icy, I make sure I walk slowly.

Henry is very pretty today. We are having a hot spell, 30C yesterday and 34C today, but then back down into the 20-24C tomorrow. We have a howling wind outside too carrying hot air around. I hope the beaches in WA are safe, here in the South we have awful algae in the water and it is unsafe to swim, with people getting rashes and sore eyes.
