I went to the bakery. The stuff did cost 1,38 €.
I gave 1,58 €.
The woman behind the counter said she had no 10 cent-pieces and gave me 58 cent back.

Thanks, Wendy, that´s my real name. As a kid I hated it because people always asked twice when reading it. Now I love it. It´s great for "user names". But it´s only my second name so people usually address me with the first only.

What do you mean it's your second name? A middle name? Or, were you named something else before turning into Iris Flavia?! ;)
Wendy, no... my parents gave me the name as a second name. See... my father was beside other professions (goldsmith, watch-maker and hearing aid .. don´t know the name) an optometrist and hence, well "Iris" was his first choice. A cousin was named that, too, hence they gave me "Flavia" as a second one - quite common im Germany to give a second name - my boyfriend even has three (Ingo Klaus Heinrich!) - is that not usual in the US?
Well, I guess it is what we call a "middle" name. Perhaps? I am Wendy Ann ... and then my last name. I love the name Iris Flavia. It sounds so romantic and Hollywood.
