I took yesterday off to go to the doctor.
Got an sms that on the 19th the phone company will come to put me on. Or in. Or whatever. It said I have to be here between 08:00 am and 04:00 pm and I thought "noooo - a whole day?!"
Drove to work this morning and got a call at 08:30... ummmm. TODAY is the 19th!
I could convince the man to come back at 10:00 and... here I am - online from home!
Thanks to Ingo, who "made" me. We´ll share the costs.

The keyboard I got for 10 Euros and the phone... ahhhhhh childhood-memories!
My parents were cool 70´s people. My father had cool sideburns (what a name! We call it Koteletten) and we all wore flare trousers, had cool wallpapers and furniture. The phone is just one of some "rescued" stuff. Was it different in the US? I always thought "you" are some steps in front of "us"...
No, it wasn't much different in the US, though I have to say, I never did lay eyes on an orange phone. I saw olive green phones though. My parents had our kitchen done in oranges and greens. Even the countertop was orange. How funny!! I wore "elephant pants" ... pants with very wide legs. They are sort of back in style, only not quite as wide.
Yay, the´re sooo cool, those trousers. The 80´s were ... um, well.. not so cool. But the 70´s? Happy childhood days!
