Can "Y"ou Believe It´s Friday Again?
I already joined Postcrossing yesterday, time runs! And, boy, wasn´t that easy, the first postcard goes to Russia, what a weird address this was!
And it´s just 3,243 km away.
What a great idea! You get a contact and an id-number, tell some facts about your place and off the paper-card goes!
And eventually I get one back from some place in the world someday.
You get surprised by person, country and time. I think it´s a wonderful idea.
I love getting "real" mail, yet I send away one myself way too seldom.
The world is a small place after all, huh?
Since Sami wrote it in the comments here I think it´s ok to mention that Sami lives in Perth. And before... here in Braunschweig.
And got a contact from Postcrossing in... Braunschweig, too!
Thanks also, Sami, for welcoming me at Postcrossing. I´m allowed to answer only after the first card is registered. Since The second one goes to... tadaaa: far away Berlin (Germany) it may be soon, but for now I say it here :-)
Btw, "small world"... can anyone see my blogroll? From my Netbook I can´t and Ingo cannot, either.

Guess I gotta change the layout again?
But now... I can write up to 5 postcards the first time to get it going! Should do that, huh?
It´s also a great idea to find out more about your town!

I remember Sami talking about Postcrossing Iris, sounds like you're having fun with it. I know what you mean about receiving 'real' post, ahhhh! Those were the days right!
