The Nearly´s And The Still´s

Flow´s "book for paper lovers" - summer edition arrived and I got two pieces for the inside of the livingroom-door :-)

In case you wonder I say "wishful thinking" to this actually beautiful saying ("Everyone smiles in the same language"), well...
When I was into flat-sharing here in Braunschweig I ran into heaps of Chinese students as one flat mate spoke the language fluently.
Their smiles mostly were "fake", only polite. And I´ve learned, ask a "typical" Chinese or Japanese for the way or something - if they don´t know, they give you a smile and some words... not always the right direction.
So... only nearly true...

Anyhows I love the poster :-)

Beside I hung this, "Home is where you park it", nearly, again:

It was the time of our life, really.
Sosososo often we parked somewhere and saw the sun set and the most beautiful Outback-sky light up, the Southern Cross, the clear blue sky with all the stars just like in Forrest Gump and other kitschy movies I never thought could be real.
I so miss this!

Just know where the next gas-station is, have enough water and GO! Or rather drive :-)

Will we be ever able to do this again with Ingo´s health?
I´m so sad the answer is rather: no.
But you never know, huh, medicine goes forward.

Why I needed this for the door?

The poppies made me smile all June, everytime I went out the door, hence, I kept them :-)

They´re still there (just to come back to the title, right?).

And yes, it says he loves me, there, on the door frame:

I came over from studies in Hildesheim to spend the weekend with Ingo and his Granma (mainly Ingo, though, as you can guess, lille LOL).

My Mum´d asked Ingo over to "sit the house" as they were invited to a wedding and never left the house unguarded, Ingo wasn´t sure I remembered and in (the right) case I don´t... I´ll find this note at his Granma´s, which I did.
It explains the where, why and what we can do.

Parents aren´t around anymore, as Granma, sadly, but Ingo vividly made sure the words are still true, the big ones, ya know.

I clearly prefer the still´s, how about you? ;-)

Everyone smiles in the same language - that's an interesting saying. When someone smiles the other people around also smile. I find Asian people don't smile much and they don't have a sense of humour...

You remind me of a lovely Asian woman who tried to help me out in a store this past Monday morning. Try as she might, she had no clue as to what it was I needed. :-)
