Love In My Tummy
(No Vegemite involved) This was 2003.
A Sunday evening, around 7.
In Rhüden.
Ingo was making me lunch for Monday. Oh, and brekkie, too.
Looked like this:
And this:
Sososo nice, no?
These days I make him brekkie and lunch, but just the basics.
Isn´t that crazy.
This was so much nicer:
I sometimes... ok, seldom, I admit! - sneak in lille notes like these:
Inside it says this time "I love ya", kinda:
Ungeheuer with capital letter in the beginning means "monster", in lowercase "enormously" :-)
Ingo´s "invention", btw.
I got things to eat that were done with way more creativity, work, precision and time...
Despite we only had each other from late Friday to very early Monday, how crazy!
Trying to give comfort, huh.
What a waste of (healthy) time these years were.
A whale of a lifetime, kinda...
Choose right - right?
Looong time ago.
So much good and bad and sad has happened since.
Man and T-Shirt are still here.
Another Friday.
We both "just" come home.
To anybody (like us - and I know more than one) living in a weekend-relationship due to work: Stop it. Life - together - is way more important!
Love and life changes when living together - mostly for the better.
Maybe you loose some cute brekkies and lunches but you win in the long run.
We did.

What cute sandwich fillers :)
I am familiar with week-end relationships, we had that for many years...
Glad Jose is back home.
Oh, yes and luckily this is over, as in happily over!
It was a waste of quality time. And money.
Ingo certainly spoils you Iris. Those carved carrots and beautiful plates are amazing!
Oh my dearest Iris! Ingo's smile just stole all the cute and detailed food art that he did! What he did was super sweet of him to make you happy! Well knowing you through these times, you deserve all of it and so much more! Thank you so so much for sharing this to Timeless Thursdays dearest Iris!
Now you passed the smile on to me, dearest Stevenson!
Thanks for hosting this and waking memories that way!
