Voices

As the French us stupid Germans get all movies and series not in the original/subtitled but translated to our language (and the world wonders why Germans speak a rather very bad to no English).

With DVD now you have the choice and most still use the translated version.

Anyhows we went and visited the exhibition Faces Behind The Voices.

Certainly the late voice of Homer Simpson was there - and also the (female) voice of Bart Simpson, I failed to take a pic of her, d'oh!
Well, actually it was a surprise to find The Simpsons here, so I called my ex-teamleader and huge Simpsons-fan since the exhibition lasted only till the weekend.

I caught him in a meeting with the customer (why ever he took the call I have no idea) and he was excited!

"Are they there in person????"
"Um... no, you do know Norbert Gastell has passed away?"
"... oh. right... that makes sense" - oh, T.... ;-)

I immediately knew who was talking to me here:

And, well, optical these differ a lot, too, no?

Not sure, guess Italians and Spanish peeps get everything translated as well.
You would think these days it wouldn´t be a technical challenge to let the viewer decide, no?
We do not get the option on TV.

"Advanced" Germany. Not.
Nice project, though, to let the voices introduce themselves.
