Can You Grow?

Now that was to us a very unusual start in the new year.
We slept in, had a brunch and later went to the shopping centre - how crazy is that?

Not only was it Jan 1st, it was a Sunday, too. And the shops were open!

Our Iranian fruit- and veggie man waved when he saw us coming, it´s a village here :-)

But first we went to Woolies and Ingo got himself this beast:

It´s not only the size, it´s also the price that is crazy:

I got this, pulled beef pie!

The inside was yummy, as a pie nothing seems to beat Jester´s, though.

We sat outside looking at our old "home", #67 with no aircon, toilet or shower. Crazy we stayed there three times, listening to Elvis so much.

Did some laundry in the kitchen sink and hung it in front our home - never use the laundry racks provided.
They´re out of sight and stuff gets stolen :-(

Inside we pepped the cabin up with a spinning star cascade in... yep, red and green :-)

Today we take it easy, too.
It´s another public holiday here, cause Aussies are clever, in Germany it´s your bad luck if a public holiday falls on a Sunday. No extra day is given.

We´ll pay our Iranian another visit to get a fresh mango.
He really said we eat a lot of mango. When I explained to him you don´t get them as ripe and fresh and yummy in Germany he asked if we cannot simply crow them ourselves there.

Funny thought ;-) It´s a tad too cold for that.
So we enjoy while being here, right?
