Freezing On A 41C-Day

First of all: I am thankful for all the help and kindness we received.
First time I´m home alone here, feels funny.

Ingo got his nose bleeding yesterday night by accident after coming home.
Not a good idea when you take Coumadin/Warfarin/blood thinner.

First thanks to H who gave advise via texting. Always a good idea to have a nurse as friend, no? :-)

Ingo laid down eventually, but woke up at six next morno vomiting blood.
And it kept bleeding from said nose.

Went to the office to let them know no cleaning today, hubby is sick , and, thanks again, Lee got her hubby Barry to drive us to the neighbours, a medicare.
It took even him some turns to find the right place, thanks again.
The fella Ingo took place next to saw the bleeding and said, this mate please before me. Thanks, huh!

The doc said 3.3 is not dangerous, try for an hour to bleed it out, if still bleeding pinch for 20 minutes, then vitamin k.

He made two phone calls if someone nearby has it (thanks!), but no (thankfully it turned out).

In the end it was a taxi-drive to Hosp Joondalup.
Taxi – bleeding – wash-basin (we didn´t want to make and pay for a "bloody mess", right), a tad crazy and thankfully not needed:

First they mixed it up with all the names Ingo got, then there were heaps of emergencies, we waited for over two hours.
But H was there with us via texting, later explaining and reassuring about what they do, so glad about that!
We were there 12:30-ish. They tried a couple of things without said vitamin k cause that can cause even more trouble!

Finally it seemed to work out but the doctor said she thinks it´s safer Ingo stays over night.
To make it cheaper he can stay in ED. Now that was very nice of her indeed.

Nice, btw, never in Germany have I seen a male nurse, we had one, he even offered me tea, not that that would ever happen in Germany... not at the hosp I´ve been, and I´ve been to some...

The doctor didn´t want me to go home all the way to Madeley by Transperth, but I told her it´s safe if I reach Joondalup Stn.

She printed out the part I needed to walk, some 15 minutes – it was dark by around 8, but I felt safe to go here.
Certainly... I got lost in hosp – thankfully! I ended up where we started, braved up and simply went to the first nurse.
Good choice!
She lives in Joondalup and saw the Dr picked the wrong station!
I trusted her description and really she was right, about 7 minutes later I found the Shopping Centre (with a bit of help from two others), entered where ALDI is, what else!

Train to Perth in 3 minutes, yay!

A very drunk guy past me three times but others thankfully were looking on, so he walked away, whew!

Warwick: Mossies, ahhhhh. 5 big bites!

Next to me: Guys from... Switzerland, it´s a small world.

Finally #450 arrived, I was the only passenger, that felt strange.

Me and my unusual lagguage made it home.

All the while I had H via texting.
No need to be afraid travelling at night as a woman in Perth-area!
Was home by 9 and am sooo awake now.

Hopefully Ingo is home tomorrow.
No more Coumadin for a while, too!

So many lucky and friendly circumstances today!

The title?
It was a hot day, 41C. Hosp: Freezing cold. At least when you just sit and wait.
Food: Brekky: half a mango, a slice of toast with Coon. Around 6 crackers with tuna, now JERKY, a bit, yum. And crackers with Coon, Jerky is just too precious, right?

I hope these visits don´t become a tradition, right?
What a day...
